Daily SHORTS & Weekly VIDEOS to improve your English 🇬🇧
British English Conversation with @british_ash_ | Teaching, Correcting Bad Videos & A Chat.
In this video of another Real English Conversation between two native speakers and British English teachers I'm joined by the wonderful Ash 🇬🇧
We start the conversation and listening practice with an introduction of who Ash is, where he's from, his teaching experience and also his previous experience as a dance teacher 🕺
Then we get into the nitty-gritty of correcting incorrect English-teaching videos all over the internet as Ash explains how he does it, why he does it and the dangers of not fact-checking 🔬
Finally, we finish the British English native conversation and English listening practice by asking each other a few little questions and waffling on about mosh pits for some reason 😅
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed it and apologise in case the wi-fi cuts out for a second ❤️
If you have any questions for either of us, don't hesitate to ask in the comments below ✍🏻

That was a truly beautiful episode,Teacher Lewis! It was so rich with vocabulary and beautiful expressions. I consider you, and forgive me for saying this, but you are truly a walking dictionary. You always explain and simplify vocabulary. I appreciate that so much. A big salute to teacher Ash, as he truly occupies an important position through his work in delivering to us pure language free of errors. Of course, in addition to his excellent level. Thank you again, and have a wonderful day.
Thanks for your teaching. ❤
Do stuff like minute and minute, that is the stuff that confuses native English speakers, also confusing word spelling like bologna or genre, I as a native English speaking can't spell those
Thanks for your really interesting conversation. A lot of great explanations to increase my vocabulary.
Our pleasure! Happy to help
Again Lewis congratulations you had grain guest , i discovered new vocabulary. thank you.
Thanks! Glad you liked it
What's the difference? I get confused on how to use it all the time 😭
It depends on the phrase, but I’ll make more practice videos
How am I getting recommended this I am a white guy from America lmfao
You can say in the gym its got that kinda nuance
Yeah true but at is more common imo
Everything is sure, but you are 'in" the bus.
...no you can't? Is this a regional dialect thing?
Nope, on the bus
@@englishwithlewis it sounds to me someone is on the roof. But it's saved.
😂😂❤❤
Thanks
Thank you teacher I needed this! Could we maybe cover next time with the verbs such as pull on the brakes, honking the horn , etc?:)plzzzz
Dude just wait till he gets home stop calling him every second
Love it 😂
You are the best teacher ever, and not taking the piss! The british-specific terms are very useful for us immigrants living in the UK!
Wooo thanks so much!
The "gargle" 😃😃😃👏👏👏
Haha yep
I am studying English
Woop 🙌🏻
though technically it would also be correct to say "in the bus" "In the gym" "in my home" because you can be contained within those places. But most people say it like you do.
In the gym yeah, not in the bus then in MY home yeah but if you don’t use a personal adjective (my, his, her…) it is always AT home 😀
@@englishwithlewis If you can say I'm riding in the car why can't you say I'm riding in the bus? You are contained by the bus, unless it's a London double decker with no roof on the top level and you're on the top level then it could only be on the bus.
Tysm i was looking for this!
Awesome
Overflow 🥵🤤
I always spell moisturize with z not an S😅
That’s the American spelling 👌🏻
@@englishwithlewis i learned again. Thanks ;)
Kinda strange that like 50% of these words sound sexual 😭
It's not the words.. it is your green minded brain 😅
I didn’t even use the verb squirt 😂
why does it sound like hes holding back the urge to yell at us
😂
You forgot WET
Next time 😅
@@englishwithlewis please no, that would be so naughty
It is so useful for me to learn how to start a small talk. Thanks for your sharing!
When there is another person who dreams together... Eh 👆 is with

Thank you 🙏🏻
Cool
So useful 👏👏👏👏🌈❤️
What do you say when you recover from an illness?
I’m not sure we have an idiom, but you GET OVER an illness
@@englishwithlewis Thx
English is like sport : you are not a good football player by watching football on TV, you have to play football to be good
Exactly! Practice makes perfect 👌🏻
🌈👏👏👏
❤
I like this one - get over! When I hear it immediately I feel better. 😂❤❤❤
Haha happy to spread the good vibes
Added new phrasal verbs to my vocabs

Thanks Lewis for allowing me to WING IT throughout the video. I just realized, I wasn't speaking at a normal speed but quite quickly!
Haha my pleasure! You’re a pro at WINGING it 🎉
It's an amazing video.
Thanks as always Amira
Great... As always...❤
Thanks!
Lewis are a fantastic person I would like to know you .Today I was very impressed with your great guest. A question how did living in Chile turn out?
I went to South America to learn Spanish back in 1994. Chile was where the plane arrived. I lived there a year, went back to NZ for a couple of years and then ended up going back to Chile again.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😃
Wait,, there are actually people who pronounce ostrich with a hard ch instead of a j sound!?!?! Never even crossed my mind that someone could pronounce it like that
Y did i think wolf bear💀
