I dont agree with all of this. I agree that social media/ recreational things do fill our brains. But you dont need to cut this out. You said 1-2 million a year while still doing these things? I would be fortunate to even make that much in my lifetime. Money is not everything. You can still live a comfortable life and enjoy the things you do.

I literally spent 36 hours straight, recording a 6 hour video, working a 4 hour shift at my day job, and then editing the video until it was done, I did take food breaks and I worked out once just to clear my mind for the rest of it (while the footage exported to my computer) but it was the craziest, most productive 2 days in a row, been recovering for like 3-4 days but I got back into it today haha, the ability to work until a project is complete when there’s something pressing and meaningful is so good

I think one of the biggest differentiators out there besides relentless persistence is not being afraid to act on ideas and fail. You can come up with the greatest idea in the world, but if you only get around to halfhearted attempts at execution, or worse, just keep putting the idea off until 'things are just right' then you're not going to hold a candle to someone that comes up with mediocre ideas but keeps trying them out and refining them.

My man clearly didn't play Mobas when he says games are no pain. Great video though and pretty accurate! What you call dopamine trails is heavily based/connected to the flow theory and eventually ended up in methods like kanban which is all over every professional business. I can recommend very much having your own physical, not digital, kanban board and learn the method to engineer your own trail if you really want to amp up your productivity and feel that sweet chemical kicking in when you finish a task. It's an absolute gamechanger (no pun intended)
