This is the end of a travel from music to literature and back to the music , from Beethoven´s sonata dedicated to Rudolf Kreutzer to Lev Tolstoy and his novel "The Kreutzer Sonata" and finally to Leos Janacek and his impressions on the reading of this novel.

Breathtaking interpretation of a splendid quartet. So finely structured and all four voices so beautifully balanced and interwoven.

One of the best versions on Spotify. I have enjoyed it many many times! So much energy and passion!

Haydn ... the gift that keeps giving. Extraordinary work played wonderfully.

I never can't decide whether I like the original or Szell's orchestration better. It just works so well in both iterations. You certainly play it with the same intensity that Szell conducted this with in his own recording.
