The power commander was about 350 USD, the air filter about 80 USD, the headers around 250 USD, and the tuning around 250 USD as well. The silencers were on the bike when I bought it, but they were like 600 or 700 USD when they were first offered. But you can get a quality set of silencers for around 300 USD. I have another Interceptor 650 with an S&S cam, which costed me around 200 USD. It changed the bike in the sense that the power was now available much higher in the rev range. I preferred the low end torque more. I have to change to a larger front sprocket size to compensate for that. The good news is that it now has the oomph for that

Love from India.❤ The classic 350 is the best seller in the lineup. Rode 30k kilometers on Indian roads(off-roads). This machine can take everything except top ends. I too ride my 350 hard. No engine issues. The 500s dont sell as much here coz of low mileage. Most 500 classics r converted to carburettor. Its efi fails too often. Mine is carb 2016. The 350s rock here in India. There are riders i know with 100k kilometres on the 350 and 500 Enfields without any engine issues. Guess what i broke off my rear suspension from the swingarm joint( too hard riding style). One advice always keep the oil and the bolts in check. Simple but an elegant motorcycle.

@@geraldtrumpp2340 I don't disagree with you. To a motorcyclist, the differences are substantial. But to an unknowing passerby, like some of my friends, the differences seem marginal. That's my point. The look and feel was just right. Of course it's a more modern machine, how else would they be able to sell new bikes?

I'm happy with mine just as it came out of the factory. I would like a rear luggage rack, an fully enclosed chaincase, and a siamese exhaust [NOT a two into one] as standard, also better mudguards that kept the road muck from the bike would be nice, and some different handle bars, and some quality fitted luggage panniers. One thing puzzles me, If you wanted a fast bike, why didn't you buy a faster bike? cheers.

Sounds like you have some really nice plans! Buying a different bike purely for better performance would not have given me the same feel as I get from the Interceptor. I feel that this is exactly how it should have been. Unrestricted.

@@bensal07 ok. I was not criticising you. We are all different. I notice that you seem to be the only person who has bothered to stick the bike on a dyno to find out, what difference the modifications made. .stick a new pair of spark plugs in the bike when your on the dyno next, and I wonder if it will make a difference? cheers, .
