What kind of wood is that ??

The wood was ordinary softwood from a timber merchant. I think it was 4" x 3" planed. There should really have been another cross-bar going across those two upright bars, to give extra stability.

I have been doing mostly life sized portraits since 1992, so that I can interchange them from time to time to do my ballroom dancing figures in life sizes. It has been fun. George Wu, Architect, A.I.A.,NCARB 2019-7-23, FACEBOOK George Wu
