Got the exact same model as in this video. Absolute beast of a laptop. It can even handle 1440p in next gen AAAs. Performance wise, it's almost equivalent to 4070 laptop gpu. Some games (e g. Witcher 3 next gen) it performs better than 4070 laptop gpu. But it's obviously better than 4060 laptop gpu if you don't use RT. (RT is pointless with budget laptops anyways). It's a rare find ofc. I was lucky enough to get a ~400$ discount on this gem. Hope this comment helps my fellow gamers out there. Cheers!

@kuronewzen Hi I bought an asus tuf a16 after watching your videos and because it was in my budget. I feel like I’ve had a lot of issues while gaming. I’ve changed the processor boost and other things but still see a lot of issues while gaming including screen going black, a lot of lag. Do you have any advice or recommendations, it would be much appreciated

I just bought this from best buy for $633.99 (refurb/excellent or very good, i forget which). New price isn't much more though, i think its $719

Man, I wish they would restock them here where i live....missed out on the 699€ deal @ blackfriday....super scared that they stop building them after CES.

I had this laptop and unfortunately it was overheating. I found a HP Omen with a 4060 on sale for 760.00 and grabbed it. I can say the Asus Tuf with the 7700s was running really well and played games very well before the cooling system went down. I recommend the laptop if you can find it on sale in your area. I checked the prices today and BestBuy has it for 719.00.

The more impressive part for a laptop is the fact the 7700s is 10 deg lower than the 4060. Makes a big difference!

i had to return it sadly, mine had a really bad backlight bleed and coilwhine, it was buzzing like a bug zap machine...

I had this laptop and if you’re happy at 60fps then it’s ok. Low settings @ 1080p upscaled with Radeon software destiny 2 could not hit 120fps. Even sitting in orbit. It would stay around 105fps. It’s a good laptop for $600-$700 but anything more than that and it’s not a good purchase. Armory crate also sucks.

Looks 👀 pretty good to me!! And now what to do about my desktop? Pretty new but with a new RTX 3080 FE. Asrock z790 Intel Core 7 13700kf 10 fans rgb Corsair fans blowing out exhaust only. Corsair 150i 360 I/0 on top, Corsair vengeance 6000 mHz 32gb (2 x 16 gb) RAM all glass GIM case, white mid tower w / vents all around. All wiring is white for the most parts. And 3 slots M.2 nvme ssd 1. Boot drive 2tb Samsung 980 Evo, 2. Crucial P3 4 tb Gen x 4 3. Another one like “2.” Big sell point: 10tb of storage!! My steam library is too big! I need another 4tb! 😮😅😢 lol what do you think? I’m down sizing👍🏽😆🤡🔥

The thing is that GPU stutters a lot if you start to move around.

Unreal like this is fakez the old amd 6800m beat 3080 laptop now this new rx7700s is faster than both. And youre showing me 4060 is as good as rx7700 unreal bs 😂 4060 = 3060ti trash

Throw in some quality FSR, and you should be able to stay comfortably over 60 fps at all times while playing on a 100W USB-C charger. Very impressive.
