Isn't abrasion a weathering process? I think you said erosion. I don't know if it is a weathering process though.
Abrasion is an erosion process. In this case it’s where rocks and debris within the waves are hurled at the cliffs, chipping away at them. 😊 Erosion means the removal of rock, weathering is the breakdown of rock - I hope this helps.

But what is the meaning of channel
If you take all of the water out of the river, the channel is the ‘trench’ left that the water flows in.

I have a question. Google says limestone is soft rock but you said its hard rock so did you make a mistake or...
You have a good point. Headlands and bays will form if one of the rock types is harder than the other. So, if you have limestone as one rock and clay as the other, the clay will erode quicker, leaving a bay. Limestone is much harder than clay so, relatively speaking, it is the hard rock!
