1:59 Again, you tell the story from one side of the story. The Yang side, what about the Yin side? What is the BAD thing about romanization? Japan still kept Kanji, and they are a great people.
1:45 Hold your horses. Language is a real thing. What you call "Chinese domination", other people call "Chinese heritage".
Thank you so much. Vietnam language is very Unique!!!

Can I use ”chung toi ” for we or it’s better to use minh when I travel in vietnam and I am with my wife and I want to speak with a vietnamese people ?
You definitely can use “chúng tôi” for we. Most Vietnamese will understand the general/basis pronouns.

Thank you for these lessons! I truly appreciate you and your work. I'm having a difficult time distinguishing between 'ch' and 'tr,' can anybody help me with that, please?
Thank you so Much! I learn a lot!

As an European who speaks four languages and recently started to learn asian languages (mandarin, korean and vietnamese). Although mandarin and vietnamese grammar is easy to learn and the tones aren't that difficult, I find the letters in vietnamese hard to pronounce. Like I have a friend who is a vietnamese and there is big difference between our pronunciation. Like I cannot get it right. Vietnamese is going to be a challenge for me. Well, at least I'll learn the vocabulary and I will be able to communicate somehow through writing. Haha...
Love all your video lessons , so clear and easy to follow

But google and other popular translators pronounce words differently compared with this channel. That makes things quite confusing
Thanks again! I am discovering your videos, they are very well thought out!
This is great! Thank you!
3:09 how come "gi" is pronounced as "zuh"? Isnt it supposed to be "gee" with G sound and not J? G (Guh)+ i (e) = Gee Also I thought southern pronounce it as "yuh" or vietnamese "d"
You speak Vietnamese distinctly and at a good pace for language learners!
Whatever happened to the age-old practice of pointing to food and then pointing to one's open mouth, usually with a was of cash in the other hand? Worked fine for me!
The bigger question is why the French imbeciles used Latin alphabet and phonetic markers in a way that does not align with the sound production? I mean, D as Z/Y? R that is also Z? C that's closer to G or to Y, Qu also as Y? No F, but Ph?
Thanks
