I've been trying and trying to find them around Christmas time a few years so I could grab the other color variant but have had no luck unfortunately. Also it seems Loblaw's buyers are reluctant to bring these back into Shoppers Drug Mart. They were there that one year and haven't been back since which is a damn shame.

Yeah, my dad has one that looks almost exactly the same, the only difference is that his has a silver color instead of the glitter. Thats sad you couldn’t find them, i was looking alot over ebay and found some two dollar ones but they just looked to boring and plain. If i find any, i’ll let you know.

You can put in any amount, even if it's something like 2 bucks of nickels. The only thing you "put in" as far as a fee goes is that ~12 cents per dollar counted, so you'll probably want to have a lot of coins to get the best result. Otherwise just go to your bank/credit union, or a customer service desk if it's not that busy (and doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon).

+moddedimlose I was surprised by the fact that I had gotten something shrinkwrapped too, I had checked out a couple of other unboxes and they were just bare cards in bubble wrap plus a basic driver disc to get you going (which was also why I was fumbling around with the package for a bit). I think the best I've seen someone get out of Premium was a 7850 or 7870, maybe 7950s/7970s were auto-disqualified since those still fetch mad cash because of its longevity to this day. Still, for its time, 6950 is pretty good, even if 1 GB (which wasn't a problem then either until Skyrim-style games started to hog VRAM). It'll make for a pretty nice backup card since I didn't have any other GPUs on hand for things like troubleshooting until now.

Agreed, I like the concept, more 3rd parties should do something like this (if it were someone like EVGA offering up some old GeForce cards, I'd happily bite). As for stock, I managed to get an order in the 2nd time it was available (it was briefly out of stock once), probably because they rejected some orders that attempted to grab more than one from a single tier or one from each (it's a hard limit of 1 per order, regardless of tier). Each time it did that (I think there was one more time where it was available) the odds of rejected orders was only gonna go down. Now, it's been out of stock for a few days now, so I think your chance is up unfortunately. About the "one per order, regardless of tier" asterisk, there was one guy, Socket Sanctuary, that had all of his cards shipped in a single box despite that (I'm guessing he placed separate orders, no clue on if he would have been refunded shipping costs for other orders but I would hope that he would have), but considering that shipping to Canada was to the tune of $20 per order, I decided to pass. I would've considered grabbing a Better as well. Also, he had a shrinkwrapped card in addition to a few loose cards.
