What sprockets you running ??

Engine looks completely different than my 22 model . 1k miles and still a great bike . Also Still riding my 02 xr250r with 280 kit and hot cam . Prefer the power of the Honda but the suspension on the gpx is a huge upgrade. As for the people on the fence about Chinese quality, I work for a company that sells 5 lines of cars, we get parts for Honda and even Porsche that are made in China but labeled as oem. The new 60k Honda prologue is built on a GM platform with a Korean engine and Chinese transmission and assembled in Mexico.

I love GPX but the only bike that makes sense is the 450 at 7k vs a Honda crf450 at 10k plus all add ons. The FSE250E at 4k and carbeurated is a ripoff. Orion has their new RXB250 HO (high output). Has 24 hp, 6 gears, and is fuel injected. And that costs 3.2k. Makes no sense to get a GPX Edit also the RXB has SZC suspension same as the GPX. Basically same bike but 1 extra gear, more power, fuel injected, and cheaper.

Worth pickin up one of these 2019 gpx for 1000$? Tryinnto learn wheelies on a bigger bike can ride wheelies just only with hand brake

They're hating because they spent three times as much money for the same bike almost doesn't matter what you ride as long as you're riding

Just got my 2023 FSE. GPX tells me the correct puller is M28 x 1.0

I have a GPX 250e and my jerk neighbor drives a Harley and always laughs when he sees my bike. 2 different breeds of bikes.

If you re-encode and upload the video in 1440p or 4k you get TH-cam's better codec and higher bit rate... 1080p and under really butchers the encoding for the foliage otherwise ;-)

Great video. We all have to stop saying: "... 10 grand..." They're not 10 grand. They're $11,999 with a thousand dealer add on. With the supply shortages, you're not walking out of that dealer for under $13 grand! That puts this bike at almost 1/3 the cost. That's just too much of a difference. I think I have to buy one.

Do you still have your GPX 250e? I'm seriously thinking about buying one, and soon, like this month. I've been looking at new KTM's, Beta's, and Gas-Gas, and even the KLX300R, but man the prices are just way too high for a dirt bike, it's insanity really. I've also been looking at used bikes, but when I find one in good shape, they want a fortune for it. So might as well buy a new bike like the GPX. At least that's what I'm thinking.

Yeah I was looking at KTM's for a little bit, but man there is no way I'm forking over 12k for a dirt bike, that's just nuts. I recently sold my old XR250R, I had that bike for many years, and it was great. Perfect power delivery for woods trails and good enough power for open terrain too, because it was a 6 speed and it was awesome. So if the GPX is like the XR as far as power, I'll be happy with it. Anyway the GPX looks really good, much better than the antiquated XR250, even though years ago I liked the XR looks, but not anymore.

Most dirt bikers just use the suspension and the power of the engine to raise the wheel up. There are videos of ktm's doing wheelies on 6th gear without the clutch TH-cam. Most wheelie tutorials do the same. I am sure the upgrade is worth it. He did seem to pop the wheel up while he was already riding a decent speed.

Can you tell us which tusk shifter you purchased? In other words for what bike?

They are cheap brittle pieces of crap. You hit a rock hard enough the forks will bend. Or the linkage will pop. Or even the frame might crack. The engines are terrible aswell. Very cheap parts. And sorry but no one should respect a clone bike.

I wanna try a sprint enduro!! A lot different then are races that are cross country we’re they are hr and half to 2 hrs long straight and no breaks and little more technical with rocks and such !! Our races also if you don’t get the hole shot your eating dust mud dirt and can’t see shit in front of you hahahhah! I like the format of a sprint enduro we’re your basically goin off your time and your own start with no one else!! You have better chances of doin we’ll and just racing yourself!! I love our tccra cross country but it is tough as all hell and get out!! I gotta work on my stamina to be able to race fast for longer!! I’m be on the lookout for some of these type of races near me! Definitely wanna try!! Good job though man!!

Great video and information. I'll probably be doing this to my 250Es for my little rental fleet of GPX bikes. I've kinda fallen in love with the little 250E I definitely have some nostalgia for air cooled bikes. My DR350 gets a lot of love still. Not a lot of information on the GPX bikes and I've enjoyed your videos so far sub'd.

Where do you get replacement parts for these? I'm looking at the new 450 Rally!

How flexible are the plastics? How reliable is the stator and other electrical parts? How about gasket or seal leaks? How about linkage bearings tightness?

Ive done a lot of research on this brand and others like Kayo and EGL and this bike is by far better build and performance wise way better than the other less expensive brands . So I will purchase this bike in the very near future

I feel the light colored fender with lights. My 2013 xk450 I put a light on with my lime green fender and it glares pretty good lol. If I buy a brand new 450 having a street legal one would be pretty freakin cool. Especially for the price

If you got the 2019 GPX FSE250E...... you will have to remove the Outer starter gear cover(has three bolts on it)...there is a bolt hid "inside" the cover, otherwise the side case cover isn't coming off. Good explanation and video!

What sort of cruising speed are you getting on the highway with the smaller rear sprocket? What does it max out it now? Curious as have one ordered and expect to be gearing it down. I assume 1st/2nd are still fine for the tight stuff?

Would you still recommend this over a used ktm?

Hey man it;s been a minute..Glad to see you still hitting it....good advice about the wheel weights....I am gonna guess 19-20 hp aroung 8500 rpm for the stock 250, but very interested in the results...perfect jetting and a clean Air filter matter. Keep up the good work and curious what you think of the big bore kit.
