Environment and Land Use Act Definitions "natural boundary" means the visible high water mark of any lake, river, stream or other body of water where the presence and action of the water are so common and usual, and so long continued in all ordinary years, as to mark on the soil of the bed of the body of water a character distinct from that of its banks, in vegetation, as well as in the nature of the soil itself; I keep this definition in a word doc printed next to my license and encourage the property owners to call the police. It is important that property owners know this. There are a few cases where if a family has owned land from before March 1961 they can own half the river bottom or the entire river bottom if they own property on both sides of the river. Please read S-55 of the act which is also printed in my word doc next to my license. Hope this helps
You coming up this year? Sockeye just opened here 👍 I am local to terrace
I’ve got a good spot for camping on the Kitimat river, killer fishing there
What bait are you using for targeting reds
Lame
Can’t ever see what they were using pisses me off.
Amazing.
I have a couple videos from that day if u want them still? I haven’t got a hold of ya in a while
I caught tons of sea run cuts and bows in the Fraser this Jan it was just nonstop along with a few really big ones
I have rewatched this so many times cause im so exited for the upcoming red run lol. And are you going to make another vid on reds this season?
Hey Grayson, thats awesome! And enjoy the red season. Unfortunately I get back home in August, but I’ll send you some vids of what I’ve been up to
I will indeed enjoy it and sounds good
Never heard anyone call it a Twitching jig, I just call it a jig 😂
Sweet video looking at going up.that way
Nice work again Marco😊
Jus trying to look at the fish but god damn those grippers got me stating
Whistler looking toooo creamy
That’s sad
Dude that is sick. Live tanks n everything
let em eat - mini edition
That boat is sick!
Yo bro I’m going to be in Urmond in the Netherlands in a couple weeks and was wondering if you know any good spots around there and what there’s to target?
Hey komahs, ya from the start of April to June it’s closed for pike I think but give a check of the regs at vid pass.nL. Other then that you could try getting a guide. That probably you best bet at some fish. Or you could try for carp but it’s pretty difficult. Or you could fish for bream but there not really sport fish. Hope this helps!
@@TyeeFishingCo. what is that link lol, you tryna scam me 😂
@@komahs7685 oh shit, sorry bro I meant Vispass.nl hahahhah
10:22 isn;'t that a girl with the long flowing hair? you keep saying dude.
nice fish rip23
The best steelie tutorial on TH-cam I’ve seen. Unbelievable it only has 2300 views. Keep up the good work boys.
I've never caught a steelhead and I caught/ landed 3 wild lost three others .. fluke week .. took 3 years for me
Upper ?
What are you studying abroad?
Didint you say u made curry out of it ?
Nice work lads! 👏👏
Thanks for the support Chrome Strike! Also, keep up the great work with the rods!
I thought high holing is ok jut not low holing? 😂 if I cant fish above u and bad etiquette to fish below.. then where to fish? 😅
Hahahhah ya man, high holing is totally fine! it was just a mixup. its every ones river to share :)
Haha yeah man I meant to say low holed but the adrenaline was pumping
Thanks Dave! Hope everything’s well and that the river is providing :) really like your recent video as-well, great job!
B money was the feature we didn't know we needed
So true bro, the honest opinions and laughs made the show. Defo gonna need his feature again!
Meno I appreciate it. I try to always keep it real It was great fun to visit the show. I am always available to feature
Best video I've seen in a minute!
Thanks Brother, my guy!
Sophisticated fishery. The hunt. Fly fishing for carp is the bomb.
Ya, so In depth with there tackle, they say in carp fishing the last end of the tackle determines if you catch fish or not, so be precise and think like a fish hahahaha. We’ve got to try and do some carp fly fishing one day!
This guy never seems to disappoint, loved the balint feature also. Keep up the great work!
Thanks bro means a lot, and Balint killed it and always gives the honest opinion!
an entire fishing industry built around a goldfish with down syndrome.
Well, carpe diem.
Been trying to get my first steel on the Veddar going on 1.5 years now lol 😂u guys get a bunch in a day good stuff 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Dude don’t worry, I didn’t catch my first steelhead the first 2 years and a bit since I started fishing for them. So don’t worry but the best advice I can give is cover water, and fish inside seams and fish tail outs! Hope this helps :)
Best video I’ve seen in a while
Thanks Frans, my guy!
Hello from one of your coworkers
Hey bro, I’m glad you found the channel!
Whoohoo
Ya man! Perfect for salmon or steelhead, but use a more natural cure for trout and steelhead they seem to like it more!
Holy buddy just slayin em don’t know if u remember me. Zach and Jake and me fished the Stealhead early this season names carter?
Ya I remember you Carter hope everything’s well. Good luck out there getting on Steelies!
@@TyeeFishingCo. I’m trying unfortunately it’s impossible bc I’m in Mexico 😂 anyways
@@Cartersfishinghighlights Ay enjoy the holiday they’ll be plenty of fish when your back!
Great stuff fellas! Absolute beauty of a fish. I miss my steelies
Thanks dude, just subscribed to your channel love the sturgeon vid! And good luck out on the water.
@@TyeeFishingCo. thanks bro! I appreciate that. Used to fish the vedder every weekend when we could. Now out in Alberta, it’s not the same 😢. These fish out here don’t compare to a steelie or coho
Awesome video
Thanks much appreciated! was a couple days of grinding to find the fish in the system but we accentuate got on em!
great video; but whats with the annoying sound effects of a honk?
Thanks, happy you liked it! It’s actually a duck sound and it’s to block out swearing, so I can have the video as kid friendly. Sorry about that, it’s something that I’m improving on hahaha
Awesome job to u and oiliver and have u tried putting ur bead on the hook i saw like rod and brock and sum other guys doing it and i thought id try it during salmon season and my landing rate went up alot but just thought i whould reccomend it once again great vid
Thanks Grayson, I read your previous comment but had to reupload so sorry about that. About your question, the bead on the end of the hook is definitely a proven method that catches fish. I have used the method my self and have had good results, but I have more confidence with the pegged bead so I’ve been using it. It’s important with the pegged bead to have the right size and make of hook for the size of bead. As-well as use a bead peg that holds the bead in place, this way lessening the chances of the bead sliding down the line obstructing the hook. I also find if I want to add some yarn to the bead using the pegging method, I can make the yarn more secure. Good luck out there!
Awesome video Cameron 👍. Great job fighting that fish, using different rod angles is so important fighting fish in current. Also love seeing you fishing with your parents 👏.
Thanks Rod! glad you liked the video. Ya was a great day with the family and they had a great time :) Adding to that a steelhead on your tackle made the day even better 😊
Which city was the fishing?
Pretty sure it is Cacela Velha in the Algarve, I will be heading there in August.
What a location to fish, another Tyee classic.
Thanks brother, can’t wait to meet up in the summer. let’s defo take the Jet boat out.
@@TyeeFishingCo. No disrespect to myself...catch and release is mainly for bass? All the things I learned in biology say these fish come to spun, and afterwards die? Like they can never make it back to the ocean? I'm not a smart man, that being said...I'd eat them and all I could eat, I'd give to the poor.
@@shockadellick Steelhead have the ability to spawn multiple times. They aren't like the other salmon species in which they die after spawning.
nice! I got to plan a trip back out west for some winter steel.. Only been out there to experience fall Coho Salmon run, was a blast!
Thanks! And for sure if you plan a trip for steelhead try to come around February or march. There are more steelhead in the system, and still comers around.
Awesome video man. Really nice steelhead. I just subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great work and tight lines boys.
Thanks for the sub and happy you liked the video, Im actually in the Netherlands now so I’ll be fishing for species such a Zander and perch and pike! Good luck out there on the water.
