Hello ma’am, I don’t know if you know this, but I believe that you are using the air much too close to your pups skin. It feels much hotter to the dog than it does to you. May I suggest using a room heater and cooler air? It works great. Watch your own video your dog is terrified

No, no, your scaring your pup. DONT DO THAT!!! Your using the wrong type of hair dryer. Thats the wrong the of hair drier for any puppy. I just bought one from Amazon that was highly recommended by Go Groom Amy Leigh. It the travel size and it's called Llano foldable hairdryer. Its very quiet and has three speeds and temperatures. Its perfect for all dogs and cats.Once again you should be batheing and drying your pup when your toddler is napping. He's a total distraction. He could cause you to make a mistake and therefore injure the puppy. I would add some very soft classical music while bathing your puppy. You need to introduce the dryer to the puppy. Amy Leigh shows how to do that on her channel "Go Grooer". You are showing some unsafe and bad habits which viewers watching might think this is normal when it certainly is not. For example, if your going to bathe the pup in your sink then you need to block the garbage disposable drain so the puppy doesn't slip into it. Your an accident waiting to happen. Please, please do yourself a favor and watch Amy Leigh at Go Groomer.YOur teaching your pup to be scared when using one that is loud, and way to hot. You need some professional training before putting out a video on youtube. So stop now!!! Obviously your not a professional dog groomer. You sure won't be doing my fur baby anytime soon.

This is probably the worst video I've seen on giving a dog a bath. First- you don't put a dog in a kitchen sink! For obvious hygiene reasons. Ummm... don't you have a bath or laundry tub.?? And dawn soap? No way. And what is that container/cup you wet the dog with? Goodness me, get one those things they use on professional groomers, or just put the dog under the tap

I think the ducks were just reminiscent of the oil spills where a stronger cleanser was necessary. I agree Dawn is too strong for our dogs.

Just tried giving my 10 week old maltese a bath in this same manner and she did not like it!

So Dawn is really used to help clean off fleas & off rescued animals. I would NEVER use it on a healthy puppy. They have hair NOT fur, their backs that are very sensitive & pink. What your doing is striping the oils off & making the hair and skin dry. It’s just like you washing your hair with Dawn. Of course if this is a one time situation I understand but it shouldn’t be used regularly. I have two Maltese 7 & 8yrs old and have used gentle whitening Oatmeal Shampoo & Conditioner off Amazon. If you bathe them with the correct shampoos & conditioner over the years their skin will be soft (the pink can be quite sensitive and burns easily) and their hair will remain healthy & thick. You did a great job displaying the method for washing though. Your puppy is beautiful!

You had me at "Youre dirty you stink you need a bath" lol...People amazingly do EXACTLY the wrong thing almost across the board when dealing with their dogs. You are so right. It is all about your energy. People dont really grasp what that actually means.

Why don’t you take care of his eyes

Dawn? That seems harsh for a dogs skin and fur, it will strip the natural oils out. Not sure why you’d recommend that, but perhaps you should ask your vet before recommending it on TH-cam. I do like the spray bottle idea, it seems like an easier method especially for dogs that hate bathing like my new puppy. I do think I’ll stick to the oatmeal shampoo I bought though.

yeah I'm with the first comment. its soft and you could use it if you were in a bind. but tropiclean for her eyes and they make tons of soap for white dogs. I use the chi keratin conditioner smoothness but I always use the same stuff in leave in conditioner. yes I go a little over board but I Cant have kids.

Omg! Why dishwasher soap? Use Chi for Dogs 2 in 1 or shampoo + conditioner. It smells so good! My Maltese never used that kind of soap. Poor dog!
