i managed to do it without removing intake plenum (only the air cleaner housing) but getting hose back on the valve was a bit challenging

Lol, I worked at one of those call centers in SHV for three months in 2015. It wasn't Chinese though. It was run by English gangsters out of a general's mansion. We called folks in AU and NZ peddling stock in Xiaomi and whatnot. Was pretty legit actually. Guaranteed $800 a month and commission on any deals. One good week I had I made $900. At the time I remember one similar Taiwanese operation getting busted. All the scammers there were deported to China. We never had to worry about getting busted though because we had the protection of the general who rented out the two first floors of his mansion for us to operate in. Good times.

can also buy filtering systems for backpackers. i always travel with these small systems so i can drink a variety of water sources. REI has a great one, very small, for like $25. i never leave home without it and have never once been sick from questionable tap water

Thailand and Cambodia are not comparable. Ex. Thailand is 10 whereas Cambodia is 5. Cambodia. Laos, and Vietnam still don’t have stable governance. The war left deep wounds to those 3 countries.

Last few months many telecrooks in hundred caught in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, ...SEA were send back to China for serious labor education.

You may already kow this but with your Cambodian phone through Cellcard buy long distant load I think it is what it is called but dial "1771" that number than the USA area code and phone number. you don't need to dial the Country code +1. The call is 5 cents a minute so for my $10.00 (if my calculation is correct the $10 gives you over 3 hours of long distant call to the USA. I found this out by going to a Cellcard office here in Siem Reap...I havent verified the $5 cents a minute but my call went through 3 times and I was on the phone for over 1.5 hours one & half hours..Now I need to figure out how to monitor the 5cents to verify the accuracy of the information....Good luck my friend..Respectfully

Not only in Cambodia but crimes are everywhere. It can happen to anyone and anywhere. Criminals target fools. Traveling in Cambodia or anywhere in SEA, I used a $20 phone and they have no desire for it even if you handed to them. Locals are more likely to get robbed than tourists because punishment is more severe if they commit crimes against foreigners. Can it happen? Well sh*t, you’re more likely to get robbed here in America than there in Cambodia. Try walking through the hoods and find out. You may never come out and it’s a first world. So what’s the moral of the story? Be aware and don’t be a fool. Carry $100 of small bills and keep everything else in a safe place and that’s it. If they want your $100 then let them have it.
