Return to the Green Truss! Pyranha Scorch First Lap
I remember 2,000 being pushy and Drain hole a real scramble! And, Revenue rapid a "final exam"... which once I failed! hahaha
I guess the sultan river is dammed with rocks now, so i suppose we can't float down from the dam, probably no way around the rocks?
This is a pretty old glands, but it is holding up really well. I look at it as a landscape lens. They make the power version of it, which is pretty cool, but I am not sold that overly complicated lenses are the way to go. They tend to fail at the worst times. The only real advantage I see with faster than F4 and that type of lens is if you’re doing Astro photography People seem to eat can’t really wrapped up with stuff that is so easy to change if your lens is a bit slower turn up your eye though change shutter speed or your aperture. It’s pretty easy.
Regarding the reflections of the lettering on the inner lens: this is a typical problem with white lettering. More expensive "pro" housing use glass domes with special coatings to reduce reflections. Cover the lettering with matte black tape or use paint if you are not wanting to resell the lens later. Especially with prime lenses you can experiment with step-down filter adapters to narrow down the light path until it starts to vignette. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Disculpa tu Lente es macro?, o esa es otra versión?
Intento comprar una versión que dice ser 3.5, pero también dice que es macro 😮, es el mismo lente?
Deck grabs for days! Love it!

You convinced me to give it a shot, got lucky and got one for 16 bucks on ebay, will report back what I think, great video o/
can't wait to hear your thoughts!
@@sethezekielwest oh boy where do I start, for reference, I tested the Canon FD 35-105 3.5 and the Vivitar Series 1 35-85 2.8 constant aperture zooms before and they had clear weaknesses, that I didn't like. The Canon has a very long minimum focusing distance of 1.5 meters with a weird transition into the macro mode that seems to start at 1 meter to 35cm, not great for smooth operation when doing close up stuff. Biggest plus of the Canon is it is almost parfocal and at F4/5.6 you can almost use it as if it was, amazing. The Vivitar is nice, fast but heavy, clunky, it's a push pull zoom and it is pretty soft wide open. Just when I thought there always has to be a compromise with vintage lenses your recommendation, the Makinon 28-80 3.5 enters the picture. Two touch operation, the perfect focal range, wider than the Canon and Vivitar with almost the same range, competes well on aperture, sharp even open, not as physically long as the others and the absolute killer feature that sold me on this lens: 23cm minimum focusing distance. That is absolutely amazing, I can get 1:4 magnification within the normal focus range of the lens, no macro mode no nothing. This lens can actually do it all, these are the best 16 bucks I have ever spent on a lens and I had thrifted a Helios for 25ish before. This is a true gem and I actually can not fathom how this seems to be the only proper video recommending this lens on youtube. I will go snatch up another one, subscribed, please tell us all your other secret tips nobody has ever heard of :D
Yes, they suck, quality is really bad, plastic dome gives many problems, glass dome is not well made and the Coustomer service even worst. I through mine to the garbage (no joke).
I stupidly bought a Makinon lens without knowing it doesn't fit my Nikon camera 😅
Dang, no adapter available?
Man nice video and thanks for the tips! But couldnt help to pay a lot of atention to the vocal fry you do lol
Wow! Best yet! What are you using to edit your videos?
Thanks! I use Final Cut, been on it for years and just can't bring myself to change.
for the first fifty seconds... are those cuts speed ramping into a new clip or just ramped in the timeline.... would love to see a photo of the stack for this beauty.
Just a ramp with motion blur within the same clip. In a couple of cases I had to adjust settings/VND mid shot because of the harsh lighting transitions, so that might be why it looks like it's ramping into a separate clip.
@@sethezekielwest ture that is what I think I was seeing
Seth dropping another banger? Say it ain't so! That A7SIII is just a weapon and a half.
I keep thinking about upgrading but then it just keeps working so well 🤷
@@sethezekielwest I mean what would you even upgrade to? I'm not sure what even has better specs or autofocus
A RED... or Arri.. something stupid that I can't afford hahaha
Awesome film

Excellent broski! Love your eye
I love it. This is what full slices did for kayakers back in the early 2000's. I loved paddling one on the middle. Nice video and sweet freeriding.
Well done bro! ❤
Thanks buddy ❤
Cool underwater shots! Great play, smooth af!

I love how the music briefly cuts out near the end, and all you can hear is the sound of the water and bubbles from underneath ❤
Thanks Barb. Relax and enjoy the bubbles 🌊
Great, great video and super smooth paddling
