Shark Flexstyle on dry frizzy hair... not impressed 😔

Excited to try the Shark Flexstyle to curl my hair but doesn't seem to grab much of my hair (compared to videos I've seen where hair clings on the barrel quite effortlessly), or I just need more practice? My hair is thick and frizzy especially after washing and drying it with a hair dryer.

Update: I got the other brand (D) and hair clings to it so much better and I'm happy. It was double the price compared to Shark but it worked much better for my hair type

@@abdullahkarakus8639 Where did you see a listing that said it was plated btw? I just assumed it’s pure 18k gold since every listing on every site doesn’t specifically say “plated”
@@GeniusInventor-dj5zc On Tudor's website it says it is 2 mm gold plated.
@@abdullahkarakus8639 this particular model per serial number just says “yellow gold” bezel while some other models have “solid gold” on the bezel tab. That may mean this particular model is a gold plated version while there are others with solid gold. For me I’d rather have the solid gold version
Have frizzy hair also. You have to dampen your hair a little, make sure you use a heat protectant and probably some sort of styling cream. Use small pieces.

Great video I just have one question! Is the gold really solid or capped because I found this scrolling in the comments in another review: "The Black Bay S&G models have solid crowns, bezels and end links while links in the bracelet are capped. The 1926 and Royal lines do differ. The Royal bezels and bracelet links are capped while the crowns are plated which helps assist in keeping the cost more approachable. The 1926 models have solid end links with capped bracelet links and bezels, however the 28mm versions do have solid bezels. You may see or hear otherwise, but this info is direct from Tudor." Thanks!

You’ve got the crown screwed down too tight. My jeweler told me to not crank it down that much.
Well if you don’t want water to get in the movement you should screw your crown very tight.
Owner of the Tudor Royal 41mm blue. Yeah, do not crank it down so much. Screw it until you feel the resistance and that will ensure your 100m of water resistance.
@@jerrywangg bingo. I got the 38mm. Jeweler said with this particular model you gotta be careful not to tighten crown too much. You’re getting full water resistance when the Tudor insignia is upright.

We bought one yesterday. I tried my usual waffle mix, which was far too thick for this machine, added more milk n all sorted. I found when pouring I swayed power backwards n forwards which helped my thicker mixture spread better. I'm impressed though! I'm in NZ and um it wasn't cheap haha but it does it's job by making my life easier with less mess so my whole family are happy... especially our kids! :)
I agree it does the job, no mess, yummy waffles and happy kids! We have a cheaper waffle maker but so messy after, drips all around the machine on the bench, etc. We love this machine we used so many times already:)
