Gladiators - Duel with old music
มุมมอง 19K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
BBC brought back classic 90’s show Gladiators on 13th January 2024. The classic Muff Murfin theme is back but the incidental music isn’t. This is what Duel would have been like had they done… which in my opinion they should have done! With thanks to who provided the original music to me, which was so long ago I can’t remember who this was. © BBC / Hungry Bear / MGM Television 2024

Well Fred did tell them about one man who'd upset him, the guy who originally had the rights to write their book refused to let Fred take over, Fred told Ron and within a day the guy called Fred and said "sorry about that, you can write it now" it's tiring seeing keyboard gangsters talk about the twins being overrated when the truth is they were as powerful inside as they were outside. That is why they never got released.
The controller of radio 2 should have gone after her total hypocrisy. Every time I hear Steve's voice I cry he was our afternoon now it's nothing short of a joke😢
His humility is touching - what a lovely man!
Im so glad I had my kid's in early 90s. Would of missed looking back on all this laughter.
He seems like such a lovely guy, so well deserved honour :)
Goat mr Owen is
Saw him walking in Harborne few years ago holding two big plastic boxes always has time to say hello, top bloke deserves the award.
Can't see my previous message
GOD IN HEAVEN BLESS HIS LIFE, AND GROUNTED GOOD HEALTH AND MANY " MORE" YEARS OF LIFE, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE LORD ALMIGHTY. ❤❤..
A wonderful man… he really is 🥲👏👏👏👏👏❤️
What a lovely, humble man.
MAD DOG MACREE
And after Newsround announcement, CBBC offensively... ...showed a rerun of Ooglies, a kid-friendly show with "graphic violence for kids", whilst people in the UK mourn the passing of Her Majesty... Jesus Harold Christ.
It's much better this way.
“Would I lie to you?” *5 Seconds Later* “Well probably I would” 😂
Awesome ' that's the old school eliminator ' even had the old music
Soooo funny😂😂😂😂she great fern
This has to be the most amazing bbc one ident ever loved seeing this on tv going around in uk and the music was so beautiful

I have nothing but fond memories of Steve ‘I’m Mike Powell’ being one of the more recent sound bites he used, quite ironically I often mused that to take his afternoon show would be the death of him, and a matter of months later - here we are
Wow, a television studio was still using CRTs for editing and producing as late as 2006!
I bet he tells her to f..k off when he's off camera She has an annoying face too She reminds me of Alan Partridge 😂
What a misery that women is how she still has that job on Breakfast BBC Tv I do not know ?
I gotta show this video to William Aster Bader. I bet Hugh Janus, Brock Lee, Sharon Cox, Mo Lester and Dan Druff would like it too.
Picturing Elizabeth: Her Life In Images. Today At 14:00 On BBC One And IPlayer.
She would’ve been 100 years old my goodness
Tv was at it’s best then 😂
1:07 Oh, the irony.
"and we'll see what uh.." quick flash with static noises "what we can do."
"i made a mistake so have fun" about 1.5 seconds later "got trolled lmao"
boosted up
Ian Beale probably cut the power😂😂
As an observer from the US this ‘lady’ is sadly lacking good manners and etiquette - her smug and ‘high and mighty’ attitude is embarrassing for the BBC. Sack her.
Wang King occasionally calls, too 😉😏
Still can’t believe it was the BBC that brought this back. Saying that who remembers (or would rather forget) that appalling version on Sky One
Tragic to witness, (stroke?) get well soon ❤
Good on him he know bully when he see it
Naga is and always will be a bully. She admitted she bullied children in school.
Poor Rageh Omaar. Became unwell doing the news. I've always liked the news with him doing it. He makes it enjoyable. I've watched him on the news since I was a little girl. Get better soon Rageh. Xx
Chris Ship was there covering the Royal story when Rageh first started struggling. He could have stepped in no problem whilsy Rageh received a medical check. It was very bad from a Health & Safety welfare standpoint for ITV to allow Rageh to continue, even if he was 'determined to do so'. That decision should have been over-ruled by his employer due to suspected serious medical emergency. It was very painful to watch him....
Shame on ITV allowing this to continue, he could have died!
Was watching this as it went out. My wife and I, both thought he was having a stroke!
These people will eat themselves
We hope speedy recovery mr tagah omar.........we wish him well.
Glad he's been looked after. But when I saw it I instantly thought it could just be a migraine which he's familiar with and why he was trying to make it to the end. Personally I can act very similar, unable to read things or get to the end of a sentence. Its very worrying to others not familiar with it and someone once phoned an ambulance for me.
ITV? Rageh Omaar one of the best journalists get well soon
You would imagine that TV companies that broadcast live would always have a contingency plan in place if this kind of thing happens, but clearly they don't. In theatre, they will always have an understudy who can take over the role of the actor in an emergency, but clearly TV companies don't deem it important enough to have a reserve presenter on stand-by, otherwise they would have pulled him off-air. I can imagine a TV studio full of panicked people running around not having a clue what to do or how to handle this, which is why they kept him on-air.
Agree.

So shocked to see ITV News presenter felt unwell like this. I’ll wishing Rageh Ommar well.
