More things in my personal EDC (things I have multiple times had to run to the store in the middle of the day due to not having): a couple of hair scrunchies. Nail Clippers. Cough Drops. Immodium. A couple of pads. Midol. Then my kids allergy pack: Benadryl. Benadryl cream. Bandaids that don't make her break out.
I use this same setup daily for work. Perfect match 💯
I have been struggling to find the best tech pouch for travel. Peak Designs nope too many pockets too big, on and on..... this one looks like it might be perfect. Also the fact that you could use it as a sling is great. Not that I think I would normally do it but when traveling it is one way to have a bag that has multiple uses...... So many colour options on these that is hard to make a choice. I am leaning to black with orange but that new red colour is pretty beautiful but grey interior..... :)
You can’t really go wrong with the Tech Case or tech case max. I’m using the tech case max in black in my EDC backpack right now. I always gravitated towards the bright interiors as well, but after using both, the grey interior is quite nice too.
Was looking for a bag for travels (mostly will be carrying my wallet, phone, powerbank, portable mini fan, gimbal and wet wipes) Torn between Go Sling Mini and Tech Case V2 What do you think will better suit my need? Dont want a reallt oversized one, want the right size for my needs Thanks!😊
Id say either one would work pretty well. Go for for which style you like better!
@@JevonBower Thanks for the reply! Ended up going for Tech Case V2 as the Go Sling feels a bit too big for me
Sir, which has more space in terms of liter capacity. The alpaka go sling Mini v2 or the alpaka element tech case max and normal version. Thank you.
I believe the Go Sling Mini is 5L which makes it the largest option!
Should I get the modern or horween for my 16pro?
I’ve been using the horween option for a bit a year now and it’s been great. Thats probably what I’d suggest. That being said, the non-horween leather is great too and a little more affordable
@@JevonBower okay cool ty, Iv also been looking for a good screen protector anh recommendations?
Whoa whoa whoa! Where's the girl from the thumbnail?!
lol.. gotcha
Can you review ng Aer Pro Pack 24L
Great review! Just ordered the Signal as my first Leatherman. The Aqua version, because I think it's virtually impossible to lose it, even in the dark. And I definitely don't want to lose it. Can't wait!! 😊
Yo that’s exciting! Let me know what you think!
@12:02 I came here to find out if the Vertex Pouch fits inside the Elements Back Pro. Was not disappointed. Thanks for the thorough review!
Awesome, thanks for watching!
I like these bags, and prefer a smaller long bag that doesnt look like a purse. But I need to fit a kindle Oasis and or A5 notebook. Both measure 5.8" and the specs say 5.5", curious since it's softer material whether something slightly taller would fit.
do you like the vertex pouch over the elements tech case max , one better than the other when used as a sling setup?
😉😉😉
🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Hey which is first magsafe popnsocket which you showed?
That olive looks so good. I’ve been looking all over the place to see additional images or videos of the olive and/or the gray colors on Aer bags
Looks like the shoulder straps do not tuck away. Is this correct?
Great video! I love the elements pro. The music kind of drowns you out.
I've carried my Skeletool CX for probably 5 years now but I'm thinking about getting a Signal. Can the pocket clip be moved to the other pivot beside where it is from the factory?
If jevon can get a beautiful woman like this there is hope for us all! He definatly punching above his weight lol.
Great review bro!
I own 7 Leatherman's and this one is by far my favorite
This review really convinced me to purchase the TP3S!
Just only a slim prybar and its done for me
How well can you fill the backpack if you intend to carry the pouch inside? Looks like it kills all of the space inside.
Awesome video!, was revisiting the Alapka Elements Backpack Pro and your video came up. Really like the Vertex Pouch and glad to see it fits perfect in the bag. Looks like I found new work backpack and gear.
Is this fit under airplane seat?
I'm looking to replace with Cargo Chrome Industries (I like but it's heavy) and I found this bag. It's another style but looks great to carry on my 16" MBP and all my geeky stuff. Thanks for the review
Thanks ! I bought the X-Pac version - I am going for 1 month and a half Greece and Bali. Will update after I come back :-) !
have fun in Greece and Bali! would love to hear your update as I’m considering it for my daily pack that i can also use for a short trip. much love from Cyprus 🤙
Update
@@bloo_110 Hey so i am still in vacation and it is EPIC. Totally worth every scent of it = not joking. Keep in mind that you also have to pay customs. For me it was +80€ from the original price - so it gets slightly expensive. But is so so so good. My girlfriend bought the tomtoc version from Amazon though which is way cheaper but is super good too. So to sum it up, i would totally suggest it !
@@aram3703 hey i answered at bloo's comment above ! thanks for reminding !
@@christophervradis7285 hey! i don’t see a reply, not sure if youtube on my phone is acting up or the comment didn’t come through. either way would love to hear how your trip went!
it's Horween...
So would you stick with cordura or would you get the x pac
I like both, the backpack I’m currently testing is x-pac but I think I prefer the feel and texture of Ballistic Nylon. It’s super durable, stout, and plenty water resistant for my needs.
@@JevonBower I just ordered one in olive!! I’m heading to Africa in July so I’m stoked!
Enjoy africa its absolutely stunning. Dont eat fruit or use ice there tho water they use will mess u up.
what is the case for the ipad mini?
It was just a cheap-o on Amazon!
I buy Fisher Space Pen refills and use them in my Parker Pens. The best of both worlds? 😊
That’s a great hack. Although I do love the way Parker’s write!
Nice vid
I want a modified skeletool (i want the hammer with 4mm & 8mm drivers and the #4 scaple blade replacement) Idealisticly speaking I'd honestly prefer the pliers to be OTF so I could apply opening or closing pressure to the pliers (like for a snapring or expanding an opening etc etc) and to have a wire crimper tool.... I would complain about the proprietary bits but not only is there a huge aftermarket of stuff that fits in the driver head I like the way the skeletool's bit retention and how you can easily mod such a wide range of commercially available saw blades to fit
I'm curious, what color variant of the EDC pouch do you use?
OD Green!
Love your content, been looking for this Slate Grey CAS2 even in used but no luck. Let me know if you’re looking to depart with this.
Thanks man! Will do..
Hello, I want to know if this was any sort of an AD? And is the quality good at all?
Hey there! This was not an AD. Aer sent me this backpack for review, however everything I said in the video is my own opinion. I have a lot of backpacks, and this one is top 3 for sure. Quality all the way around.
@@JevonBower So 100% honest opinion, 1/10 quality, and will it fit a Dimensions (H x W x D) 22.1-25.2mm x 359.6mm x 264.8mm / 0.87″-0.99″ x 14.16″ x 10.43″ Lenovo gaming laptop? I need this for travel for UNDER the seating.
Can a 12 oz soda can fit?
Yep! Probably two if there’s more much else inside.
The Surge is superior in almost every way outside of the Magnacut blade.
Right ! I know a lot of people would buy a premium surge with upgraded knife steel I would in a heart beat.
Excellent review. Subbed.
Much appreciated! Cheers!
what's the pills container you use?
They’re just a generic brand on Amazon!
Anything in TI makes me melt 🫠🤤
Right there with you buddy!
Just stop the bull and just do it ..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now
Think it could be a personal Carryon with a roller carry on?
I think it depends on your Airline. @Dannypacks was able to use it as a personal item on a flight but I can’t remember which airline it was..
Sure! Not issues with AA.
I bought the city pro and it fits in personal sizers for AA, easy jet.
I’m Concerned about Back Plate on Thee Rugged Case? Would it Scratch easily?
Honestly you don’t see the scratches. I noticed like micro scuffing but it’s really not that noticeable..
@@JevonBower Appreciate you.💯.
Which brown looks better for you with titanium? Thanks 😊
You really can’t go wrong with either!
Does a thick gamer laptop charger fit inside?
For sure!
Let's talk about this pack. I own one. I own the X-Pac TBP3Sm. It is the bomb. I use it for both travel and EDC. It has been on my overseas trips and it has been to my office (every day). While I do agree that it might be a big large for most people, it works for me. I can carry a laptop, keyboard, mouse, ipad, EDC kit, First aid kit, 2x bento lunch boxes and we've not gotten to the admin pouch. The upside of the X-pac (and the reason I would steer you to this pack vs. the original) is 1) It doesn't need a rain cover. I've taken it out in a decent thunderstorm and while the exterior got wet, the interior didn't. 2) It is ORANGE on the inside. When you are on a flight and the pack is under the seat in front of you (which, BTW, fully packed out does fit under the seat in front of you even in coach), you can open it and actually see inside. 3) It is durable. Between the flying I do (a lot) and taking the pack to work (which I do every day), it gets a workout. While the X-pac does not hold it's shape as well as the original, I prefer the fact that it can take a beating better than the original (which by the way is no slouch). I also purchased the optional hip belt, which you may not really need, but for me works when it is packed full and is heavy. The bag is not cheap. With the hip belt it was just under $300. However, Aer has a lifetime guarantee for their packs against defects (not for ordinary wear and tear). If it fails where it shouldn't, then Aer will send you another pack. So a review within a review. You should really buy the bag. BTW: Aer did not send me a bag for free. I bought mine...and bought one for my son for his birthday. He travels as much as I do and he absolutely loves it.
Great info! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Oof. Just got the regular one on sale. Wishing I opted for the xpac now, considering it’s more water resistant and lighter
I bought one and I’ll be taking it with me to Japan in a month and see how well I do with just this bag for 3 weeks!
Any update?
Update?
How’d it go?
Long story short I broke up with my gf and didn’t go to Japan 😭😭😭 but I’m sure it would have been everything I ever wanted in a travel backpack
@@Phlfwlr 🙁sorry to hear that! Hope and prayers for peace and healing from that, thanks for your response
