Yeah, they were some nice crab out there. Hopefully find a window to get out.

No, I use protec powder coat on the weights.. basically, put the weight on a spinner wire bend the end of the wire so it doesnt fall off, then heat the lead up with a heat gun, and I dip them in powder coat.

Depends on how warm the weight it. Sometimes yes. Give it indirect heat with the heat gun. Dont want to burn the powder coat. Practice a few times. You will get the hang of it

Need to adjust your filter sensitivity slightly up if you arent seeing them. During the day they will be right near the hotgom typically 100-140 ft where ai was fishing. Each sonar is different but kinda come up as dots or squiggly lines. If you goofle what a squid looks like ion a fish finder you can find snapshots people have shared. Hope that helps.

The i k was everywhere

The squid jigging boats get pretty tight near the school but everyone does there best to avoid each other. Most of the boats have s bow mount with spot lock to keep them in the same spot. I hope to eventually get one too. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I've only fished for yellownperch in a AMERICAN and Lake Washington on the westside. I hear Lake Sammamish in King County is good. Yeah, as for the angle of the sun, it wasn't on purpose, I'll try to be better in the future to take the angle into account. I'm glad you got a 9 incher. That's a good one

Yeah just look that the bellies make sure there are no visible parasites. Then I just scale them, and remove the guts. I will then coat in seasoned flour and pan fry in browned butter. You can fillet and fry for fish tacos but that's more work! 🤣

Try at night using lights in shallow water and a gig, make sure it's legal were you live good way to find em

South sound probably les davis. Up north deception pass state park marina, and honestly driving out to westport and dropping rings off the dock can be great
