What did you do for a tune?
Freedom Performance had a shop they work with tune it. I do plan on sending my ECM to Lloyd'z though.
I’m toying on a 2 into 1 Freedom, bit on the fence for a baffle at 300 bucks, do I need it, does it dampen it down, I’m wondering without will it give enough back pressure….?….. hmmmm decisions, decisions. Love the colour of your bike, sounds great 👍
Sorry I missed this one. I've been meaning to pick one up because the beach areas are sticklers on sound levels but I always forget to order it 😆
Great 👍🏼 video, Impressive!
Thank you! 👍
What an animal 😮
Hooooo whee! Bad ass Hey man how tall is ur sissy bar?
Do you have any issues with scrapping with it being lower than the stock exhaust?
If I'm being super aggressive on the right hand leans it will scrape.
Nice bike an awesome sound!🎉🎉🎉❤
About to pick one of these up in the next few weeks and from the looks of it, you've done the exact mods I'm planning. What's the seat on the bike? I've heard the stock one isn't great after an hour or so of riding.
I went with the Saddlemen carbon seat. I like the recess for the tailbone.
@@GingersKing Perfect, thanks for the response!
Harley-Davidsons new m8's don't sound as throaty as the Indians even at idle Harley has lost it's loping chug that adds to the HD experience I own a Harley myself I think Indian might have my next bike in mind
I do think Indian did a strong job with the newest Thunderstroke. Harley's new water cooled motor is is really strong but you always lose a little of that bid V twin charm with those (like the Challenger)
Is this with or without the Toce db-killer baffle?
No Db Killer. That sitting on the workbench 😆
I did the Akra baffle delete but it just doesn’t sound as good as this and runs a bit choppier imo.
nothing compares man, its raw as hell.@@alexmccord1385
You just sold me an exhaust system dude. 😂 Thank you.
Please tell them that when you order it. I still talk to the guys there. Haha
Awesome. How bad would that pipe scrape if you lean over hard on a curve? I’m in the fence with this one or the curve radius pipes from freedom. 🤔
If you're really aggressive it's going to scrape. You give up a couple HP with duals so you get a trade off both ways. I still love mine though 😍
@@GingersKing thanks man I appreciate it. I’ll go with these and just take it easy on the curves
Did u have to do an ecu flash ?
You definitely have to. It won't really run without it with a full exhaust. I went with Lloydz
SOUNDS AMAZING. You literally dominate the road with this thing!!!! 1:55 - 2:12 😍
She makes it hard not to twist the throttle, especially in Sport Mode 🤤
Do you have to run a Dyno or not?
You'll need either a dyno tune or a remote tune if you're removing the cat for sure. Lloydz has a great tune for this exhaust combo.
@@GingersKing I have 2023 HD fatboy and I want to get freedom performance model HD00808 what do you recommend a dyno tune or remote tune? Much appreciated will be granted for your info…
@@americafirst6221 Here's an answer that might not help...it depends... especially on how good each of the tuners are... haha. Generally, a dyno tune can result in a little more max power, but only a little. On a remote tune, if you have a pretty common combination they've really nailed them down and often times will make adjustments to help with things like surging, lazy throttle, etc. The good thing is with there being so many HD's there's a ton of options. I would really get on a Facebook group or something and see how's getting the best results for your bike.
@@GingersKing Thank you 🙏 your man
Sounds awesome
What a good voice you have
Thanks haha
Oh yes.
Your voice sounds better than a motorcycle bro.
dry and sharp. I don't understand why it doesn't sound better. It sounds good but should sound more smooth and dark. Now more rattling sound which is harsh and sharp as I said. I miss Vicktory.
are you ready to sell it?
😆 I love her too much every time I ride it sell 😉
Damn I just found these bikes I’m in love the price tag is high as hell but they are so nice 😂
Well if you compare it to the Harley Low Rider S, which is it's direct competitor, it's a bargain 😉
Great sound. I have the 23 Indy white S and debating between going satin and black or polished and black.
It looks great both ways. Which way did you decide to go? Be aware you'll have to remove the chin fairing for the exhaust to fit. I went over this with them since I had added one to mine. They are working on modifying the chin spoiler. Did they give you an update on that?
@@GingersKing im waiting till im home from work training in a few months, but im leaning toward the polished pipes and black tip I think. I kinda like the blueing.
@@GingersKingbeautiful bike and exhaust. Was the shop able to modify/install chin fairing with this exhaust?
@@pdsarizona1191 Actually...Toce is about to release an updated version of the exhaust that will clear it. 😁 Give them a call and they'll tell you the updated timeline. Should be any day now though!
That’s awesome news. Thank you for the update. Enjoy the most unique riding experience on your beautiful FTR :)
Great sound. Stupid name for an exhaust pipe.
😂
My now favorite bike
Nice bike and exhaust is sick, bet ur neighbors hate you.
Nice! Have you noticed any discolouration from the 2 into the stumpy end pipe? I have a Bobber and am looking at these pipes as well as others. What tuning did you go for? Cheers
No discoloration and I have about 14k miles on the bike/exhaust. Remember that these have full heat shielding over the pipes. The bike was dyno tuned after they put on the exhaust. I'll be adding a Lloydz tune and cams soon though.
Hey brother, nice vid. Got the same bike waiting at the dealer for the mf'ers at SC project to finally send the S1 slip on. It's been 2 1/2 painful months now, and I'm tempted to go with the TOCE instead. Just how loud/bassy is it? I have a Scout Bobber with the 3.5" Rinehart slip ons as reference and those are ear splitting, but they have a deep note that's hard to beat. Did you break it in with the full system and tune? I went with the SC cause there's a vid of an FTR with it and they sound incredible with a full CATless header. Similar growl to my Scout. BTW I like that tail tidy and seat. Is that OEM or Corbin's.
I did the 500 mile before adding the exhaust and tune. I'm running out without the db killer and it's really loud. You can add the db killer for pretty cheap though if you want to tone it down a little 😉 And good eye, that is the Corbin plate mount 😁 Congrats on the bike!
I keep coming back periodically for my Injection Doc. It hits the vein every time.
😆. I've added some more to the bike. I'll add content. They're going to borrow her again to make a new system too...😳
That's badass! I want one!
I have 3 amazing bikes and this is my favorite. So easy to just hop on and ride.
I bought my Chief Bobber almost new (just over 1.000 miles) and it came with this exhaust and I absolutely love it. People turn around to look at me in the street and the bike feels so much better than it does with the stock exhaust. Fantastic video, though the sound pales in comparison with the real thing. You can't really get that depth of sound you get on the street, but you come close!
Yeah it's great. People usually want you riding on the left on group rides though 😳😆
How you liking the bike? Went and looked at one today.. worried it might be a bit underpowered?
If you ride one you will not think that. It makes power all over the powerband. My previous sport bikes were a Gixxer 1k and a BMW S1000RR making 200HP to the wheel...this is more fun 😍
@@GingersKing I was also thinking a duke 1290. Might be too rowdy on the street ?
@@hybridEP3 The Duke is going to be a ton of fun for sure. I'd definitely ride both. The RideCommand with navigation, Bluetooth, etc, and all the goodies on the FTR is a nice bonus for the street. And see what feels more natural to you.
Great bike ! What brand is that license plate bracket? And are those blinkers stock or did you have to get those also ?
@@paulmarion7578 Thank you! That’s the Corbin license plate mount, and the blinkers are the Indian accessories clear models.
How is the suspension of this bike in terms of riding Stiffness?
The suspension isn't overly stiff. I've taken this from SoCal to Sturgis with no problem. I'd change out the stock seat though.
I recommend the new Sport chief 4” of travel
My favorite new Cruiser!
How’s the heat on it ?
Less heat than stock because it removes the cat. Also, these have full heat shields which is rare for a full exhaust. I also added heat shield liners from DEI and they cut heat down another 30 degrees. So now heat is no issue and it's hot where I live.
Do you know what the decibels are at idle/ cold starts ?
I did a measurement when I first installed if. I can again. Are you looking for the legal measurement which I think is at 1 meter?
@@GingersKing I want it to be as loud as possible 😁. Louder than the scout 1200 with a two brothers pipe lol
Did you move your controls forward from mid? Or did they come like that?
I did put forward controls on it. I've also added mini floorboards from Kuryakyn with Scout peg adaptors.
@@GingersKing beautiful bike man!
I know a tune is always best with a full system like that. Did you tune yours? What/Who did you use to tune it? I cant take the factory exhaust anymore lol, But if I HAVE to tune it I need to save up more.
You'll certainly need a tune. Mine was Dyno tuned locally, but I'll be having Lloydz do an update.
Does the check engine light come on with the cat removed? What about the o2 sensors?
No. But you'll want a tune with an exhaust that removes the cat as the fueling will be different. Look up Lloydz for that.
Can not find thos kit for sale anywhere, any part numbers?
This bike actually looks better with the 2-up seat, and the mini sissy bar.
I def like the lines with it
@@GingersKing 👍👍
Looks Badass
Sounds waayyy to tame. Try a set of "Crusher exhaust tips".
I already changed over to the Freedom Performance Combat 2-1. She sounds anything but tame now 😉
@@GingersKing OH Yeah..!
Sick lights brother, where'd you get that headlight fairing/windshield from? it changes the look of the bike entirely 🔥
Got it off Amazon. It's really inexpensive. The paint cost 3x as much haha. Here's the link to the one I bought but there are a few brands that are identical. FATECIM Motorcycle 5.75” Headlight Fairing Cover 17” Tall Touring Sport Windshield with 35-49MM Fork Clamps Universal for Harley Suzuki Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Chopper Bobber Cafe Racer (Gloss Black) a.co/d/idNs6Xl
@@GingersKing just checked and you're right there's a huge selection nicee. Did they work with the factory 8 in. rise mini apes that come on the bobber? or did you have to install longer ones? your fitment looks so flush
Sounds bad ass
Dope my brotha, no excuses now
Not worth the price ,better to get aftermarket slip ons
Not if you want max performance 😉
Great video! Question, what kind of seat and backrest ?
Those are the factory accessories rear seat and short sissy bar with backrest. I’ll post an updated video soon that shows my new Saddlemen seat and custom sissy bar by Skooter Punks
That is mean. I want that for my Chief DH Bobber.
Have the same exhaust on my Chief Bobber Dark Horse. What shocks are those on the rear???
Sorry for missing this! They're the stock shocks. They just put a cover on the Bobbers, but they're the same.
