@@karaokepianobunny @karaokepianobunny Always glad to meet another singer of classical music! Vieni, vieni in questo seno (there's a piano version accompaniment but w/o a score). Not sure if there's anything for the sirena's song (F. Caccini). Early baroque pieces, but they have that early, crystal-clarity piercing soprano tone to the vocal lines. Not sure what it is, but I greatly prefer the baroque, renaissance, and earlier pieces. Something changed in the vocal pieces in later eras that seems to require heavier voices and the quality is altogether different. Not sure how I'd describe it tbh, but I don't like them nearly as much.
