Can you believe all the snow in front of our house?? How much snow have you gotten this year?
Have you gotten a lot of snow yet this year?? We haven’t gotten this much snow in years!!

This was a really good video Kaitlyn. I really enjoyed it. 😊
Thanks Debbie!
Definitely a great money saver. My husband is the family barber and stylist. My boys, now young men are getting their haircuts about every three weeks since they were quite young and I was getting my long hair trimmed every 3 months. My boys are in college and they still have their step dad cut their hair as they like his work and they don’t have to pay for a haircut. My best friend has him trim her hair because she had bad experiences at the salon and my older son had a girl he had dated ask my husband to cut her hair for her. He did a couple times. About 8 years ago, I figured that with the cost of haircuts as well as transportation costs to go to the barbershop and salon, we were saving over $1400 a year. I can imagine with the higher prices today that we are saving a lot more.
You are definitely saving a lot of money. I cut my husband’s hair about every 5-6 weeks and every other time I take a seat, get caped and he trims my elbow length hair. He does a great job every time. A men’s haircut around our area is $35 and for a woman it is about $70, plus the long hair extra charge we have a couple pairs of really good hair shears, capes, hair clippers, a wide tooth and regular sectioning combs and the alligator hair clips that he uses to section my hair. I get compliments on my hair, especially when he braids it for me. I have a couple close friends that have asked my permission to have my husband trim their long hair as they like his work, they don’t have to worry about getting their hair cut too short, plus they like getting a free haircut. I think I have it pretty good when my friends want my husband to cut their hair. There are some good tutorials online to learn how to cut hair. Do you cut your husband’s hair? Would he be willing to cut your hair for you? Here’s a good one that is the same way my husband cuts my hair. m.th-cam.com/video/gYYsedi3r1I/w-d-xo.html
What’s your go to sourdough discard recipe?
Have you ever thought of flipping a house before? It’s something we always wanted to do and chose the busiest time in our life to do it 😂
Can you believe I sold this vintage doll for $400!?!?
The best thing I have ever done is 2 dishwashers. Do it!
This is the type of encouragement I need! 🤣🙌🏻
Great work Big O
He’s a hard worker!
We'd love to hear from all of you: How do you juggle multiple projects, whether it’s homeschooling, work, or home improvement?
You should've did some research on it before you did all that to it.
The boys did their research and knew they wanted to keep it to display on their wall. They did a great job restoring it 👍🏻
Could be up to 188 years old.
Has a lot more historic or resale value left dirty and cleaned in a much gentler way, but if you’re keeping it for yourself then who cares. At this point you could start using it again
It’s for a wall display! The boys wanted to restore and keep it.
That's very nice tool in good condition.
We think so too.
It's a cleaver. Address it as such pls.
We’re people, address us with kindness please.
You just destroyed it. Should have left as is.
Rusted and looking awful? That’s not great for a display item.
@thehocketthome I understand cleaning up the blaid a bit to get the rust, but stripping it completely. Then removing the original wood handle and wrapping, you turned what could have been a nice 100 year old blade into just that a display with all it's history and meaning gone. But to each their own. Hopefully for your sake you don't find out down the road a collector would have gave you a stack of cash if it was left original.
Hi from the 🇬🇧
👋 welcome! So glad we reached across the ocean. Be sure and subscribe!
Destroy the value
Not when it’s a display piece. 😎 he did an awesome job and on it
So cool 😎
Ego of bankai
Nice hog splitter
Thanks 👍
It's a butchers cleaving axe. It's meant to hack away at the large sections of meat directly from whole animals either from railway cars or trucks at their shops.
That’s so cool to know! I will definitely pass the info on to them!
What’s our best hoarder house find so far? The slag glass lamp, the 1970s Francie doll, or this giant butchers knife from the 1800s?
I get a lot more noticeable volume of large bran chunks in my soft white wheat than from my hard whites or Kamut berries when I mill. Was wondering if you noticed that, since you are using Palouse which I use for hard whites but not soft whites. Wondering if it’s due to the variety.
I do not have this with my soft wheat from Palouse. but my mill has setting for how course or fine I want my flour. I always choose the finest setting. Hope this helps 👍🏻
@ thanks! It does. I’m guessing it’s the source-I have Palouse for hard white but used Great River Mill for organic soft white, perhaps it’s their variety or the growing season that year.
Will you add this to your 2025 goals??
When do you take down all the decorations?
I think the brick-painted white looks awesome
Thank you! We really love it and can’t wait to show you the window boxes once they are done.
W
It was satisfying to watch this fall down!
Do you proof in the fridge? Or on the counter?
On the counter!
That looks awesome! You guys work great as a team. I love that you involve your kids, and that was so funny when your little boy came running out through the hole in the wall.
Thank you so much! It’s so fun being able to involve the kids!
Would you have done this project yourself to save $6k?? Was it worth the risk we took?
Have you heard of the Amazon Influencer program? Let us know down below ⬇️
She’s a pal of Barbie
She’s a great doll! I sold her for almost $400 on Instagram
she is worth 75 $ you can sell the whole thing for 300$
I sold it all for 375!
I have some advice for you: stop reproducing.
What’s your favorite Christmas tradition?? Share it below ⬇️
Francie is always such a cutie pie! 🩵💚 She seems to be in pretty good condition, which will definitely mark her value up. Does she have any staining or anything? The carrying case is adorable, and the fashions could be worth a good bit just by themselves. What an awesome find!
She has a small amount of staining on her legs. But it may be able to be removed. I’ve been researching her and her contents. Definitely looks like she’s worth several hundred!
Front door would be amazing painted Red! Nice pop of colour.
We decided to paint it black but I can see why someone would like it red
I am enjoying the videos!
We’re glad you’re enjoying the transformation!
Love the painted brick ! The lower 1/2 of my house is brick & I painted it & it looks so much better! It dose take a lot of paint lol
I know, so much paint! It’s worth it though, right? 😄
About 350
Do you know where I would sell it or get it appraised?
That gotta cost a lot of money
I have no idea. I thought maybe $70-$100
I have never seen one in such great condition! Things like this are normally in collector's homes or in museums! My doll was one that came out with Francie and was just the doll, her outfit was a knock off barbie and the legs unfortunately didnt survive the years--- Still miss the doll for collector reasons, but I do hope you get it properly appraised!
Where do i go to get her appraised? I honestly don’t know anything about dolls
@@thehocketthomeTakes a lot of digging, normally you have to find someone and pay them to appraise something like this. Most of the time I would recommend visiting an antique store or Google and asking about doll appraisals. Most doll collectors will discredit a doll missing things like a certificate--- however you have a very hard to find Barbie product with everything. Do your research if you do want to see an appraiser, like anything about the doll(she is in some doll collector books I've seen in the past). That way you know if they are lying to you about the true value of the doll so they can buy it cheaper. Good luck!
Ill take it for some... *Checks wallet* ... Do you accept flies?"
It's in such good condition!!! That's such an amazing find, hope she finds a great home to whoever buys her.
I hope so too!
There’s a really popular person on TH-cam named pidgin doll who would probably buy it for a really high price since he deals with and collects all kinds of dolls
This is the kind of info I needed! Thank you! 😊
This was a was hard doll to find on Google lol, but i did see people is just selling the box alone lowest being 30$-highest 150$
Whatttt? Thats crazy! Thanks for sharing
