I have chapters on long videos like the one about Streamer Bot (40 mins) but on a 7 min video like this one doesn't make sense to me 🤔 Also, I've structured this video series, so each video builds upon the other so if you don't watch the whole video later videos won't make sense, or your setup won't work properly. Anyway, I'll think about it. Thanks for the feedback ✌

@@starrynayt that’s possibly due to your computer or router using IPV6 as the default. Try checking and changing it in one or both. Hope that helps :)

@@mechwarriorzero interesting, what troubleshooting steps did you try from the video?

1. Not quite sure what you mean by "exit out of manually" but in my case all redemption videos are loaded in OBS as webm files (very small & easier on computer resources). I use Streamer Bot to handle when a redemption is triggered and when to change the video visibility (on and off). In other words, I have full control over when and how they're handled. 2. I have the DJi Mic Mini but can't use it with my iPhone (no adapter for it yet) so I can't quite help with that, but I assume it should be like the Hollyland Lark M2 which shows a wireless mic is in use. Are you using your DJi Mic with the receiver or via Bluetooth? Hope some of that helps :)

@@cliffcreates thank you for the quick response. for question 1: when i'm out irl-ing with the moblin app, I'd like to hear my streamelements alerts being played. I use streamelements overlays when I stream from home, but when i use moblin's built-in widget, I either 1: wont get an alert if I use the "alert" type, or 2: if I use a "browser" type, i get the pop-up player on my phone (while on the moblin app) that i have to exit out of manually, and only plays the sound and doesn't show who caused the alert. I guess I'm looking for anyway to get streamelements alerts to my iphone, preferably through moblin but at this point I'd be willing to use any app lol for question 2: I haven't gotten the adapter yet either (can't believe they leave a spot for it in the case, but don't give it to you lol), but it is on my to do list. It is currently just running through the bluetooth, so maybe plugging in the receiver will work idk. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

@@jonathanryan5863 1) I would use a 2nd or maybe third phone or device for audible alerts. This one can be a "hand me down" or older model (nothing fancy) connected to your main phone's wifi hotspot. 2) I know right lol and from experience connecting both the DJi Mic 2 & Mini via Bluetooth it's fine but not great. I'd avoid unless you have no other options. You're welcome. Glad to help :)

@@Faiqal_x1103 indeed, there could be lots of reasons for that like they actively pulled it for some reason or it was removed because they hadn’t updated it to meet new criteria, etc. Hopefully it’ll be back soon or perhaps there’s another app that can take its place

Good point. It's been years since I've been to one of these and I remember there being a lot more Christmas-y vibes and music throughout the event instead of early in the "First Half". Overall, it was a good night out but could've been better. Also, more Santa! 🎅

It's probably a conflict with the IP address/ports in OBS and Loopy because I can use all those apps (Moblin remote, OBS Blade, etc). Check your config file... 127.0.0.1:4455 - Loopy 127.0.0.1:4457 - Also Loopy Whereas it should be the external/local IP and ports for everything else. Hope that helps :)

@@reymarcelais9980 I dunno, that sounds pretty normal to me as you usually start streaming from your starting soon scene, go live, then change to your live or cam 1 scene. Unless you're doing something else?

Also have another look at the config file. You'll find your answer in there. *hint* optionalScenes

@@cliffcreates I’m gonna try that, ty so much for replying My main problem it’s bc even when I go live and even when I have good bitrate, noalbs stills switches to my BRB scene :(

In my case I use Streamer Bot to automate almost all of my interactions with OBS, so I'd only use IRL Link, OBS Blade, Moblin, etc as a fallback option

I think Moblin needs to tell OBS that it's experiencing connection issues with the internet in order to switch scenes. To elaborate, when it gets to a certain threshold it'll activate the scene switch but a complete internet drop would, theoretically, prevent that from happening 🤷‍♂

Nah, the connection didn't get bad enough for it to switch scenes which I thought it would by going through a couple of train tunnels, etc so I guess I'll have to try a couple of other places I know of

Sometimes I have to fully close the app (swipe up) for it to update any changes to the app and TTS otherwise it could be a bug (seems like it) so hopefully they'll roll out an update soon. @@Oheddeh what is it repeating? TH-cam chat? If so, my current work around is to use Streamer bot to relay Y T chat until the IRL Link app guys release an update to fix the repeats. According to their discord they’re aware of it and will hopefully have an update soon

Good point, I've been adding monetization after the stream has ended while updating the stream info. I suppose that's a bonus for people who tune in live, but I guess I'll have to look into it. The thing is Restream works so well for IRL (reliably starting and stopping OBS with a command) I can't see myself not using it, but we'll see.

Oh, I noticed after checking out one of your live-streams (nice job btw) you figured out a way to monetize your live-streams. Mind sharing?

@@cliffcreates restream is super nice. But between not being able to figure out how to monetise the live and the chat reseting everytime I went into another app I decided to try some other things. The way I do it now is with a plug in on obs. it's called "multiple rtmp outputs" for obs. And have youtube as my main stream so I can manage a broadcast threw obs as well. I'm still struggling with a good way to merge chat tho right now I'm using stream buddy, but i find it to be temperamental.

@@In-The-Trees fair enough although not sure what you mean by chat resetting every time. And oh nice, I know of this plugin but haven't used it yet. Managing TH-cam broadcasts always caused issues for me but great to hear it's working for you. I've found the most reliable way to merge Twitch & TH-cam chat, so far, is with a combination of IRL app chats (IRL Pro/Moblin) & Streamer.bot

It could be that you're holding it vertically before going live, then rotating it afterwards. Next time make sure you're holding your phone horizontally, count to 3 seconds, then press the "go live" button. Once you get the hang of things you won't have to do the countdown part. Hope that helps :)

After a quick search on their Discord, it seems the S24 Ultra is one of the only phones that can do 60fps in IRL Pro. If you're specifically after 60 fps you could go with a slightly older iPhone (11+) and the Moblin app.

I use a microphone with pass-through charging for good audio and continuous power for my phone, and a power bank with at least 10,000 mah and fast charging

The only issues I've noticed with external power include: 1) The power bank not being able to keep up with the battery drain of live-streaming in which case you might have to plug in earlier or check that your phone is getting fast-charging. 2) The audio can cut out from the wireless audio for a few seconds and then back on again, but I think that depends on certain phone and receiver combinations

@@cliffcreatesanother question. For when streaming on my phone I only have 1 phone can I still check texts, kick app, etc while live streaming or will it stop the stream or somehow mess it up?

@@WeMadeOrganization you can continue using other apps without going to BRB (disconnect protection) if you're using IRL Pro as your main streaming app but every time you do, you'll have to turn your phone sideways or read your phone sideways for apps that only support portrait mode. This would ofc look weird for your viewers and it'd be better to go to BRB. I highly recommend getting a second phone for this even if it's an older or cheap one.

Now last question sorry 😂 if I were to setup microphones for multiple people how would that work with this setup is it just basic Bluetooth or are there extra steps?

Camera selection can be found in Settings > Video > Flip between physical sub-cameras. For my phone (S23U) it shows the ultra-wide camera as - 103° FoV (0:2) EIS Your phone probably lists them in a similar way but if it isn't there then you'll have to try the IRL Pro team on their Discord. @@PlagueDocCA Twitch works regardless of whether you’re live or not but for TH-cam you need to do a Public or Unlisted stream. Switch to unlisted mode whenever you want to test chat notifications, etc
