I made this "Scandinavian" Planter for my Girlfriend for her birthday. Her reaction was the best!
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
This is an 18.75"x18.75"x17.75" planter that I made from (3) 2x4x8' Cedar boards. Not too difficult for a novice, or hobby, woodworker. Hope you enjoy the video. Watch till the very end to see my girlfriend's reaction.

How I made a Water Slide for my Swimming Pool for less than $250.
มุมมอง 630ปีที่แล้ว
Why spend $3500 on a pool slide when you can do it for under $250? I turned this play structure slide into a water slide utilizing some materials I already had and lumber I purchased at the local box store. Overall it cost me less than $250 to make this. The slide stands 9 feet off the ground and 5 feet to the top of the pool. I wish I would have filmed the process of making the structure. Hope...

If you're getting the b01 code on the Renogy Charge Controller then this review is for you. The code means you are not plugged into a battery. Testing with a multimeter won't make the b01 code go away. You must, must, must be connected to a battery for the controller to function correctly.

      I used a Haynes repair manual for 1973-1979 ford trucks. Most of the parts were purchased from national parts depot.

    Thank you for the video. I have a 72 f250 with drums I believe I can get a 77 f350 with disks. Do you think I could swap them? I'm not that mechanical but my brother in law is. Is this a possible swap?

    • @randalldellwo6365
      @randalldellwo6365 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it’s definitely possible. I’ve heard of quite a few people swapping the disc brakes from the 73-79 trucks to these older 67-72. But unfortunately I’m not really sure what it takes to do it.

    Nice projet. 2 remarks : 1. it would be wise to put plastic feet on the bottom so that the wood doesn't rest on the wet ground. 2. A few holes in the bottom would enable the rain to drain away.

    • @randalldellwo6365
      @randalldellwo6365 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent idea about the feet. I did think about the holes. I just didn’t show it in the video. 👍

    how many hours for a job like this

    • @randalldellwo6365
      @randalldellwo6365 ปีที่แล้ว

      It took me about 4 days, roughly 4 hours per day. But a lot of time was spent trying to remove the rubber bushing from the end of beams. And a bunch more time making sure I had the proper torque specs. If those things weren’t an issue I think it could be an easy two day job or roughly 8 hours.

    if you put a sheet of wax paper on the rails of your clamps the glue will not mess-up the rails and some species will stain if metal touches the glue and the wood. Wax paper is super cheap. You could also use painters tape.

      Too allow any condensation or moisture to bypass the electric fan without damaging it. I added the insulation to keep it from freezing, but that was probably overkill.
