How much scholarship did you got

I had my wisdom teeth removed earlier this year in may and I was pretty nervous before getting it and it’s ok to be nervous before getting surgery, it’s completely normal. But when I got there I just sat in their normal dentist chair and did have to get an IV and IV’s can look more painful then they actually are, they’re really not that painful they just feel like a little prick in your arm and that’s it. Then they put the little mask thing with the anesthesia over my nose and it took me only like 30 seconds to fall asleep, it happens very quickly and I don’t exactly remember falling asleep I just quickly go out. Moments later I slowly start waking up until I’m fully awake and I just felt really tired after waking up and so I basically fell asleep while on the way home. I just had the gauze in my mouth and I would have to change out the gauze like every 30 minutes since it would get too bloody. My mouth just felt very numb and it felt really weird. The first and second day was definitely the worst and I felt all painful and achy and so I took pain meds which really helped and I would keep ice packs on my mouth and my mouth didn’t really swell up as much but it was just not fun to deal with haha. I could only eat soft foods for a few days until I was fully healed where I can go back to eating foods. I think it took around like a week or more to fully heal. Getting your wisdom teeth removed can seem scary before getting it but getting the surgery wasn’t as bad at all, the worst part about it is just healing from it. Good luck to y’all!

I’m getting mine out in a few hours and am pretty nervous 😬 Wish me luck! Ok so I got mine out yesterday. I wasn’t loopy at all just really tired. I don’t remember being wheeled out or getting into the car but apparently I was wobbly. For me it was like I knew something happened in between going under the getting awareness like when you know you had a dream but don’t remember what it is about (idk if that makes sense). When going under I just felt cold in my arm and they put something to prop my mouth open then I was in the car. I had conscious sedation. I also remember seeing double for a little but when closing one eye I saw one but with both eyes open it was double. I was dizzy for like an hour when moving my head but felt kinda dizzy/nauseous for a couple hours if I stood up. If I sat still I was good. but I could think clearly 🤷‍♀️ I’ve just been icing a ton so that really helps! Also on my upper arm the was a bandaid like I got a shot/vaccine there but idk when that happened lol You got this!

Bro- I’m getting all four of mine out in four days and Iv been pretty nervous. This is gonna be the first time I’m gonna have any type of “Surgery” . I’m scared I’m gonna spill all my secrets 😭

I am a little bit scared my son is 16 and in a few months the oral surgeon will remove the 4 of them under anesthesia. I had 2 removed at once, I know that everything will be fine but I am worried 😢

I think you people MIGHT be fine IF you had both weak wisdom teeth roots and a very reliable and expert dentist/ oral surgeon.

It was worse when they removed 3 wisdom teeth, then they put laughing gas and needles shots. It did hurt, but it was lighter in terms of pain. My eyes cry, showing it hurts. Thats my experience right now

Im terrified of spilling my secrets during anesthesia (Im a lesbian and my mom is kinda on the fence but my dad is a conservative so uh), Im not even scared of the pain or going under 😭

Getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow at 9AM! Was crazy anxious but I watched some people who got theirs done, and tbh it doesn’t seem that bad anymore. Everyone says they wake up basically painless and it felt like it only took 2 minutes, even my mom says that. Still nervous though, and I have a headache so, not sure if I’ll sleep much 😢. Hopefully I’ll remember to keep y’all updated! Wish me luck, I have been dreading this moment for yearssss!

In a few days I have to get 6 wisdom teeth removed. (And yeah 6 is possible). I’m really nervous about the surgery but more nervous about what it’s gonna be like afterwards. I’m not good at handling pain so… this is very scary for me. I also hate needles and all that going into my arms I feel like that hurts. So uh… yes very scary for me. I’m also not good at swallowing pills and all of that. I always feel like I’m going to choke. I have no idea how I’m gonna make it 😭

SCAD provides numerous opportunities and resources. However, they won't handhold you. It's entirely up to YOU to attend events, participate in workshops, and go above and beyond to better your craft.
