Dewalt DW735X Planer: Features/Dust Collection/Demo!
Dewalt DW735 X Surface Planer Full Demonstration, features, and dust collection and a quick review of this popular woodworking Tool. I've owned Dewalts DW735 planer for 2 years, my quick honest opinion, I won't tell you this is the best Planer for you. We all have different needs. My view is it's an excellent machine, but by no means does it mean you can't get similar results with the bevy of Cheaper LunchBox Style Planers out there. This does have a few nice to have features, I find beneficial. I Hope it provides you some benefit. #dewalt #woodworking

Since I'm pretty tall, I'd like mine a little taller and wider, but I had a question. After a year of use, is it still working well? And was the top level? At the end there it looked like the planer wobbled a little? Either way, you do great work, and I'm going to go watch some more of your videos now.

      Thanks so much, I’m afraid not. It kinda evolved as I went, I didn’t really specify spacing etc. Figuring everyone might have different requirements. 😊

    How do you stop the fire when you want to go inside?

    • @DIYFotoWorks
      @DIYFotoWorks หลายเดือนก่อน

      Make sure to keep the fuel container lid. Just clean the lid well, no gel fuel, and cover it, I use barbecue tongues. 😊

    Question for you if you don't mind? I installed the same exact weatherstripping and find that the rubber piece attached to the hard vinyl is rippling and pulling up on the sides. have to keep stretching it back down to the bottom to get rid of the ripples. Are you having any issues with that?

    • @DIYFotoWorks
      @DIYFotoWorks หลายเดือนก่อน

      One side of mine did develop ripples, but once I used a level to run it straight it has cleared up. The one side has remained perfect the other has the slightest single ripple I just can’t get perfect. But it’s hardly noticeable. Maybe try re aligning, Hope that helps, I’m no expert. 😊

      Danish Oil, but you could add a polyurethane topcoat for even more protection.
