A review of the Sym jet 4 50cc with a 4 stroke engine. Top speed is 55-60 km/h (Could do 30 km/h when the video was made). This is a lovely scooter. I don't have any problems with it at all. @Stefan i have an turbo kit exhaust with no limiters and i have 6-8 milligram rolls and i ofc changed the thing where the rolls are on (i forgot how its called)
Whats about the fuel consumption and what did the Biggest change?
@Stefan well every aerox 4t runs 1/40 mine runs 1/45 1/50 bcs of those changes and thats all i changed and it runs 75 rn
Reminds me of my piaggio engine but my piaggio engine could pull out an amazing 70 kmh

Search for voca inlet ! On the euro 4 there is a restriction in the air inlet . It cost 10€ but makes a big difference

Learn to read kid. I never said anything about 50 km/h? I later modified my Aerox and it did 70-75. And sure a 2 stroke would easily do 80+

Was thinking of getting one of these brand new, 50cc 4-stroke. How reliable are they?
Gridiron Prime Honestly not that great. No serious issues, but I have had more luck with Yamaha and even an Aprilia.
Hmmm... I've had bad luck with previous mopeds, granted they've all been second hand lol thought getting a brand new one would change my luck!

Sure, a 2 stroke has greater top speed but when it comes to economy, noise level and pick up (0-30 km/h at least) a 4 stroke is superior. The 2 stroke is soon dead and gone. In Europe, 2018 is the last year where new 2 stroke scooters/ mopeds are sold. And I have had a 2 stroke Aprilia SX50 so I am not all against 2 stroke 😊 . BTW, this Aerox now does 70 km/h derestricted.

Top speed yes, but it's a 50cc. Buy a motorcycle if you want speed? It does 70 derestricted and 2,4 L/100 km. A cheap way to move about.
TweedyTrash how did your derestrict your bike?
I was a bit unclear. To achieve 70 km/h I have changed the variator to a Malossi Multivar.

Setup? mine only went 48/49stock but after i removed a small ring (much smaller than the normal v ring on 2 strokes) in the variator and put 5 grams in it it comes up to 55 km/h
