How reliable are these cars, and how expensive to repair? I want one, but i'm afraid it might be too much for my wallet... I do have *some* auto repair experience, and a garage to use so at least don't have to go to the dealer.
One is sure, you get all eyes on you no matter where you are. It may be expensive to run. 7 series wouldn't stand for prestige if they didn't chew petrol, and if the spare parts could be bought at the newsagents. It is a vehicle for the bourgeoisie high on the hog no matter old or new. It'll always be so. 7 series buyer doesn't ask for costs

You have a red dot. Because when you adding automatic headlight, LCM module have another ODMETER than your cluster.
you tell me taht, haha. I've been coding bmws for 15 years already. Instrument cluster nor LCM as well as half of the modules are not stock on this vehicle. Infact, this was an 740i originally, turned magically into 2.8i, retrofitted even with electronics 6 years newer from e39 2003 etc. I believe I could make a stove out of a bmw if wanted to :D

Je li pouzdan i kvalitetan, kakva je udobmost? Pozz.
Nažalos, uopšte nije pouzdan, ali je jedinstven. Isplati se da te s vremena na vreme malo zeza. Pionir svog vremena. Ostali su bili svetlosnim godinama daleko iza 7ice pa nije ni imalo šta da im se kvari. Kakav su svemirski brod napravili 2001 čudo je da se ne kvari svakog dana. Lako je bilo mercedesu da čeka do 2005 da bmw sve prvi izmisli i razvije pa kad sve bude dobro samo da prekopira. E65 ovde niko ne zna da popravlja a i nema alat inače auto vredi svaku sekundu vožnje, pa čak i kad te zeza
@@stevanoviclab1757 F01 je ogromannn napredak naspram E65 i opet je pionir 2008 godine kada je izašao...

Für e38 gab es nicht. Sie haben mit RLS angefangen nachdem e38 aufgegeben wurde. Also können Sie irgendein von einem e39, e46, e53, e60, e65, e90... benutzen 😉

Imam priliku da uzmem takav auto sa 120tkm originalnih ali neznam nista o njemu kakv ti se pokazao i kakva je potrosnja?
moje poštovanje za vas. pa, moglo bi se reći da ste ispravno rekli da ne znate mnogo o ovom autu. Ako pitate za potrošnju kada kupujete BMW serije 7, Mercedes S klase ili Audi A8 odmah ste pogrešili vaš tip vozila i nemojte to uzimati. To su posebna vozila, retka, moćna i nisu za svakoga. Uvek je sve kod njih skupo. Registracija je 170.000, veliki servis skoro 1000 evra a moj BMW sa snimka je trošio 26 litara benzina. I da nije tako, bilo bi glupo. Zamislite da kažete da ste seli u naviše što BMW nudi, najskuplje, najotmenjije i najluksuznije pa u nastavku navedete da je registracija 20 hiljada, troši 5 litara i delova ima na trafici... To su dijametralno suprotne činjenice. Pretpostavljam da nećete biti zadovoljni njime, mada možda i grešim. Treba sve prvo probati pa prosuditi. Ja sam bio prezadovoljan iako me je osiromašio. Koliko god da bije po džepu sve je opravdano jer je to svemirski brod svog doba ali treba to i izfinansirati a i to je umeće i nauka za sebe. Možda je bolje da se orjentišete na 2.0 dizel serije 3 ili 5. Iako su to, po mom mišljenju, vozila koja u poređenju sa sedmicom dođe kao da nisu BMW uopšte, za današnje prosečne potrebe i prilike u kojima se nalazimo to dođe kao dobar kompromis i balans stvari između htenja i mogućnosti. Ako ipak uzmete tu sedmaju, moj vam je savet: počnite da gledate široko i pragmatično jer je to zaista ultimativni status u automobilizmu. Svaka naredna generacija serije 7 je još bolja...
@@stevanoviclab1757 🤣 nisam pitao za potrosnju radi potrosnje nego radi usporedne , sad u vlasnistvu imam jedan od tri najbolje primjerka e38 , 740i nema plin i nikada nece imat, uz njega imam i e60 lci 550i sa ručnim mjenjačem ( to je auto koji me je do sada najviše oduševio čak više i od m5 e39) za održavanje znam kako stvari stoje sa 7icama, a za svako dan vozim govno od n47 koje sam kupio sa puknutim lancem pa si slozio, pitao sam jer nikad nisam imao priliku vozit taj v8 sa 200kw , hvala ti za odgovor svaka sedmica je prica za sebe po meni još uvjek za moje oko najlješi model je 38ica ...

Magic :) They are controlled by an other computer which is 95 euros + shipping. Not only can it controll lights computer but several other vehicle computers as well. Interesting features, useful functions. E38, E39, E53 can be controlled by this module. Let me know if you decide to have one...

Mislim da to ne bi moglo. Imao sam prilike da vidim da su to radlil neki priučeni majstori... modul to ne prihvata, razume kao grešku i zaključavanje ne radi dobro. stalno zaključa pa otključa sam. Mi u ponudi imamo neke vrste modula za automatsko paljenje kao i kompjutere koji pružaju razne opcije dodatno. Imamo listinge na Ebay-u. Možete pogledati

As for the ABS light, it was a very big issue, almost unsolvable so I wasn't quite eager to deal with it. And about the petrol running out... I hope it is full now with the new owner since it is not mine anymore, and has changed a couple of owners since then 😊
