He is very careful, in answering these questions, and Maori expect, answers to hear that Maori are taken care of, he is not in a position to confirm this , as a party member he cant. I do say his response is within party lines. as a Maori do I accept this,Kao but at least he made his position known. I know he was not elected into a Maori seat, so It is obvious that he believes in a National Government, so don't expect he will address Maori issues adequately. At least he doesn't say things that Maori are not indigenous.

A borrower being the minority in a contractual agreement with the bank has no less legal rights than the banks. a contract is a binding agreement , the size of each party is irrelevant in the context of that legal agreement. FYI pakeha were the minority as the time of te Tiriti.

@@ame6719 Kia ora, That shows how much faith Maori had in the agreement that was reached and the treaty that was forged. They understood treaty, they already had their own. However, the establishment of government, changed things. Maori were relegated to a lower Class to be taken advantage of, punished to learn english, when the early settlers broke their necks to learn Te Reo when they arrived. The early english came here to escape their own Class system, only to bring it here. How things changed. Te Tiriti O Waitangi is not related to banks. Its not about money. Nga mihi
