@JavierGomez-zc2lr I sure didn't. I have no idea how it could be doing that on this Kenwood radio. I have the KDC mp238 and I've never seen it do that before.

Make sure you set it up without the s-video cable attached. Also the s-video cable does not carry an audio signal so you will also have to have audio cables attached for the audio signals, but I never did test any of this with s-video so I'm just as blind as you are about it. I hope you get your DVC100 working with s-video and please keep us posted on how it turns out. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem so it's not just you. I think Comet might be having technical difficulties with their livestream - I also switched browsers, etc., nothing works. It's gone and hasn't been back since, just plays the banner nonstop now.

It hasn't work since about software version 10.5

You can just uninstall Comet TV if you are not happy with it.

Yeah, Comet TV is a business so money is going to be the bottom line, but I'm sure they DO care about viewers and programming as much as commercials because that is how they are going to stay in business and keep people watching the shows and advertising.

It appears the problem might have something to do with some kind of Geo blocking restrictions. I went to the live stream website for Comet TV with my VPN on showing my location in a different state from where I actually live and I got the same problem you did, but when I turned my VPN off or chose a different location the problem went away. I hope this helps.

It could also have something to do with refreshing the browser because it worked when I did that and the VPN so I don't know which one fixed it. You can refresh things on your Roku by clearing the cache. The way to do that is by pressing the home button five times then the up button once and the rewind button twice then the fast forward button twice so the Roku will restart with the cache reset. I’m having the same problem with my Roku. Says “Back Soon”. After 20 mins or so I refresh, I see the “now playing” episode is different but still nothing. 😕

Every time I hear this I always tell people that I did change the battery, but the video still keeps on beeping and I can't figure out why. 😂

It was nice when Comet TV used to have Babylon 5 on there...

@@ThriftyinfoMix okay, so I figured it out. For some reason in the modern iteration of OBS, the Dazzle audio isn't found as "audio capture device". It's found as Mic/Aux, so you need to set OBS to look for that. Once you do it, go to settings and check Monitor and Output and you'll be able to hear it in OBS AND in recordings.

@@ThriftyinfoMix thanks for the quick reply but i got it to work in the end. all i needed to do was use a different browser, i guess on chrome i had some safety setting or something that i wasnt aware of but i used edge and was able to download the 64bit exe file. i also got the audio on the dazzle to work after watching the whole video so thank you for the tutorial, this was the first one ive seen that actually worked.

The security unlock codes in this video are not for that model of Kenwood radio. However, you can still try them and they might work for you, but there are no promises.

Thx for the feedback Robert. It took me a while of watching Comet TV on both Roku and the web to figure it out so I thought I would share. For a long time I thought the channel was going off the air overnight or something.

@@ThriftyinfoMix Now that's exactly what I thought. I usually watch Comet with rabbit ears on my main TV, but when I turned it on one morning on another TV with a Roku stick, it seemed like it was stuck on "Back Soon" and I thought it was like those old test patterns from way back when. Today I was watching it on that same TV and that message came back up during a show, but I was shaving so I didn't bother to turn the channel. Then the show came back, then the message came back, and so on. I decided to do an internet search about it and fortunately I came across this video and someone who was smart enough to figure it out! Thanks again!

It's actually been a while since I looked at these Roku menus, but I think I remember seeing one about changing images. No promises about that or any details how to do it though. There's allotta settings to look at ..

Some other viewers with Windows 11 reported that same issue in the comments, and had a workaround for it, but I don't remember that we were ever able to solve the issue. I believe they were rebroadcasting through an FM transmitter to record the audio on the DVC 100 if memory serves. You can check the comments for details.
