Perspective and proximity. The view from the land showing the expanse of the ocean, the depth, breadth and power of the waves working 24/7 against something as static and permeable as dirt, stones and sand only reminds me of my Dad's belief that water, in all it's various forms, is the most powerful element of all. Time will tell. :)

My Dad, when he was a kid, lived in a house on Shelter Cove. I lived in Pacifica from 1970 to 1980, sure do miss that fog town. I love Linda Mar beach, thanks for the video!

Take the cliff effect away and sell the damn dirt . A slow tapered shoreline with some good rocks in front of a decent seawall does the job , billions of yards of great dirt for projects , then every one can get a view as it slowly tapers up , with incredible tax revenues. Silly rabbits you can do this . But you know a fuckin liberal will make it hard 🤣

I'm sorry, but, I have no sympathy. If you're dumb enough to build on a DIRT bank at the edge of the world's largest, most powerful ocean, you're an idiot. These are not rock cliffs, these are dirt hills. BTW, these gravel banks have been crumbling into the ocean for hundreds of thousands of years.

One video showed a closeup of a little old lady who lived in the leftmost bottom apartment looking over the edge.

Save the plants scr__ the people and their houses. They never should have been there anyway!

Go buy ocean front property in Arizona.

If they want to save that cliff they're going to need a lot more boulders.

None of those gwad awful buildings should be there. Never should of built on the bluffs. Take a trip dwn to So Cal Pacific Palisades? The bluffs are open and beautiful......I can only hope the ocean reclaims it all

Authoritarian BS! The cop tells him to take it down. Why? Nothing but a egotistical power play. I would love to know what that cop's reasoning was and proceed to usurp his power play. I'm in Canton, Ohio. It still saddens me to see that the ocean is making it's way inland, causing these buildings to either fall of the cliff or be demolished. Mother Nature can be mean with the oceans, but then again things that will be will be and little we can do about it.
