It is almost impossible to do a proper quality control of 3.7v Lithium ion batteries! It's all about how well they are made inside. You can test them and install a protection pcb card and charge them up and down, but a 100% quality control is almost impossible. Lithium ion is a very dangerous battery and if factories managed to create a higher energy density in them, they will become much more dangerous than they are today! We have tried since the 80's to get a higher energy density in Lithium ion without having managed this. Everything cannot be upgraded forever! Petrol, diesel have a much higher energy density. firewood also has a higher energy density than Lithium ion.
