Lover was SUCH a grower album. I had to listen to it multiple times before I *really* got it. I remember when first listening to "The Archer" I was like "???" but then when I really saw what it meant, I was like "OHHHHHHH THAT MAKES SENSE." I want people to be honest in their reactions, so thank you for that. Lover is a controversial album, anyways, even between Swifties. Some absolutely love it, while others think its her weakest. I do think it grows the more you listen, but its understandable if its just not your thing. Cornelia Street and Cruel Summer are my fave tracks on the album.

The irony of the vibe of this video being so on par with The Archer is amazing.
