I loved this game so much! My folks would check it out for us from our video rental place and my brother and I spent so much time playing the minigames lolol we loved Bandito Chincilla and the fps ones.

When i was a kid i had the ds version which......was not what i was expecting seeing the advertisements. when I finally got the pc version i was still hugely disappointed coming from rollercoaster tycoon and the amount of freedom it had

Man, I remember playing the demo of this game way back on the 360. That desert military themed park you could see off in the distance always fascinated me as a kid.

Fun fact: this is the only Mario Party game in which you can play as Blooper, and Mario Super Sluggers is the only other game at all where you can play as Blooper.

You know you were disliked only because you mentioned skin color, right? I'm watching a lot of these videos because I feel like this game sucks and I wanted to see other peoples opinions. I noticed that for the most part the criticism is well received, but it's only when skin color/culture is mentioned that the video has so many downvotes. Sad.

been playing since 2017 on ps4 with 5k hours and now on pc with 4 more it is a very hard game. VERY hard to learn and start doing well. ITs such a big investment that if i started playing today, i would have dropped it

Got 4k hours, since console release. I think the game is good, if you have people to play it with. I'd say there's probably 3 big issues. 1. Priorities. 2. Incentives. 3. Competition. If the game is a big gallery of horror why does every killer play alike another? Silly. I think the main thing though is Priorities. Nice vid, anyway.

This game is very nostalgic for me because I played it a lot with my sister and cousin. The motion control MiniGames weren’t that bad but some could’ve used the nunchuck like Rotation Station & Snipe For The Pickin. The boards were large and amazing except for Warped Orbit, the candies spruced up the gameplay in a wacky way that was fun and fair for the players. The replay value was also great containing a single player experience where you destroy Bowser in the cold depths of outer space using Kirby’s Star Rod, plus the extra games like feeding the Chain Chomps and racing against Whomp and Koopa is awesome. This game along with Jamboree gives me smiles my only problem with this game is that it didn’t support online but other than that it amazing. So if you have a Wii or Wii U go pick up a copy of Mario Party 8 and enjoy the wonderful experience you’ll never forget. I give this game a 9 out of 10.

It gets alot more hate than it deserves, the boards are decent and most of the motion controlled minigames aren't that bad, key word is MOST (im looking at you flip the chimp and rudder madness)

Tbh I liked Mario party 8, but I wished the graphics were better, because 9 literally looked ten times better as 8 but 8's gameplay was/ is AWESOME

I’m very glad that there are still a few people who have fond memories of MP8 like I do. It was also the first Mario party game I ever played and I had a blast whenever I get one of my friends to play it with me. One of the few flaws I had about it in more recent years was aspect ratio of the game where only the title screen was presented in high definition while the rest of the game was displayed in a standard format. Other then, the game is still something I want to get back into, I just need to get some Wii remotes and that’s it.

MP8 is amazing. I love it. Nice soundtrack and boards. 💯

One thing about the old Barbie movies are next to the story is when the plot gets moving, it really gets moving. But I also love the music and the relationships (Annika and Aidan forever lol, but I reexamined Erika and Dominick’s relationship scenes and I officially moved them to my second favorite Barbie couple)

Natlan is the only region I wasn’t excited for and still don’t care about🥲 (I’ve been playing Genshin for 3 years)

Honestly this is why i don't watch movie reviews on the barbie movies especially from Kurtis cause its not made for him or his perspective. The point of this movie is that girls can relate to other girls especially when girls are pressured to be more responsible and accept it at a young age but also that even with your responsibilities it is possible to hope that you can have your dreams too. I'm poor but that doesn't mean I can't empatise with rich peoples struggles cause I grew up around a lot of middle class people who have went through similar if not more than me. Saying this movie is classist is a classist opinion itself. Princess and the popstar on paper also modernize it but to me its a little flatter than the original although not bad.

You only have an issue with Genshin NOW? You must have the patience of a saint to 100% anything in this game. Genshin is just incredibly dated at this point, and having ZZZ and WuWa come out just shows the stark contrast even more. The story was always mediocre, but that's a given with gacha games. I think there is nothing Genshin can do anymore since the core gameplay is TERRIBLY behind the times. Quality of life changes are too little too late, even if I give them props for making traversal far less excruciating with Natlan.

I honestly don’t know why people still play this I’ve been playing this game since launch and I can’t even express how boring and long quest are. It ruins the game. Sometime this game feels kiddy. When I played other gacha games like wuwa and star rail I was so surprised”gacha games get dark and have this super nice pacing” I get the appeal with genshin I’ve spent so much money and time on that game but the pacing is terrible once you have maxed characters it’s not even fun defeating bosses. They reuse characters personalities constantly they don’t feel unique. The rewards are always terrible even the free 5 star after 4 years like- oh and the combat is so extremely repetitive game gets to boring

Natlan actually restored my hope for the game to some extend. Fontaine was abysmal

I've been struggling to play Natlan...it feels so directionless to me and all over the place? And gimmicky? Much like you mentioned, the cultural aspect feels very lacking. Maybe it's because it's too early to make up my mind about it, but it feels so ...halfassed??? idk. I would die for Kachina and Ororon, and I will be pulling for Capitano if he is playable, but I otherwise don't care about this region much at all, and I can't wait to just wrap it up and leave.

I pulled Mualani and Kinich only because I don't want to have to use the animals to traverse the map or reach certain places, but I fking hate that all these Natlan characters are completely unusable outside of Natlan. At least my beloved Wanderer, Yelan and Xianyun can do their job no matter where I go... The whole phlogiston (or whatever its called) and Nightsoul points thing also pisses me off, restricting the Natlan characters teams, at least Kinich's, and also my Mualani never has enough phlogiston to actually do her attacks when needed for some reason, haven't tried her in Abyss because I have better characters for that but I hope u don't have the phlogiston bar there.. even the Pneuma and Ousia thing in Fontaine wasn't this restricting because mostly it only stopped u from doing the dolphin dive if u werent using a Fontaine character Natlan's map design isn't to my liking either with all the tall mountains and having to use the saurians to climb them (I don't have Xilonen yet) but I think I mostly don't like it because NOTHING can top Fontaine's underwater exploration and how beautiful the areas are. Everything is kinda underwhelming after that, I hope Snezhnaya will be on par somehow but I don't have high hopes. Natlan does get points for having Primogems as a reward every level in the sigil offering thing and it not being locked behind 10 years of quests (I'm talking to u, aranara quest..) and also having the crafting and Katheryne close to a waypoint. But then again Fontaine has those last 2 things too. Bit of a rant but all in all, I agree with everything in this video.

At the moment for me Natlan is a faraway dream - I'm only at the end of Mondstadt's storyline. So I know there's a lot ahead of me... But I have to say, as someone who has lived on 3 different continents and has had about as much cultural diversity in my own life as I can manage... I'm *GLAD* Teyvat is not like earth... To me - the complaints about costumes and cultural diversity doesn't feature at ALL in my measure of whether a game is a success or not! There being all black or all white characters really doesn't phase me. If MONDSTADT and NATLAN were REVERSED - we would be absolutely LIVID - because compared to Mondstadt Natlan IS - I'm SURE - absolutely incredible. What I think most players fail to realise is you get used to ACCELLERATION & improvement... you expect the same leaps in improvement every time. If you make Mondstadt your baseline, You'll probably enjoy the game a heck of a lot more. Learning to be content with a game is as much a skill as playing the game itself - in my opinion. Having said that, I can't really comment right? When I eventually get to Natlan I may come back to this video and wholeheartedly agree with everything you've said.

It's just a game why relate it with real life

The sky is literally fake - so is the sun, so characters getting a tan or any tan could actually be close to impossible. Thats the reasoning I use to explain the relatively low number of darker skinned people.
