You should have just cut a cross into the side carpeting, would have been able to slip the strut tower through and not have a big hole in the carpeting
Ain't no way you're trusting your life to that popcorn
I made sure I said “that ain’t going nowhere” so I’m good.
Super helpful thanks
Glad I can help thank you for watching!
I had this same issue, and I bought one of those brackets. I think they are worth it. My clutch pedal feels much firmer.
I was debating getting a bracket but I think I’m gonna do it.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Can I live in there?
If you really wanted to yeah
I think this is the best crv generation for sure
The 2nd gen crv is actually pretty nice, but there’s just something about the first gen that makes it great.
It for sure is the best 🙌
is there a way to take off that little cover that is lifted up to be able to see the cigarette lighter and the space next to it? Im not sure what it is called but basically the thing you lift up thats in front of your stick
I can't remember exactly but I think there is a way to remove that little cover for the compartment and cigarette lighter
Has anyone maxed out the coil & run into it hitting the axle ?
I haven't really ran into any axle issues, but I'm not running my set up slammed. Hopefully someone will let you know.
Have the Delphi control arms held up well for you? I need to do mine on my 2011 Si.
I’ve had them in for 6 months now and they have held up great so far!
What size wrench you used on the castle nut?
the castle nut for the ball joint is a 21 mm. Thanks for watching!
@TONI5-25 ok thanks
These are great videos dude. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching!
I just bought a 2003 2nd gen crv for just under $10k 😱😱 only 50k miles though
That’s a great find. 👀
Yo that’s sick !
HONDA POWA!!!!
I used to have one of these. Great car.
I’m a big fan of the first generation CR-V. They were very reliable, comfortable and spacious.
yeah they’re great cars
Let me know if you guys want to see more CR-V content!!
Thank you
Hey man I so I have a 2001 Honda civic it runs fine but sometimes when I accelerate or when I break it jolts could that be the fuel injectors? As of right now it has a small evap leak
I'm not 100% sure what it could be. I recommend taking it to a shop to have it looked at. If there is no check engine light it could be a transmission issue.
Can i ask what size the bolt is in the video at 2:33, when you mention the front control arm bushing. I havent found the right size and I need to find a replacment.
I have a 2015 honda civic EX-L model if that affects it.
I believe the sizes should be the same between generations, but I don't know the exact length or thread pitch. I just know its a 17 mm. Try calling a Honda Dealer and see if they can give you that info. If not go to your local junk yard or auto part store and see if they have the bolt. hope that helps!!
Your old ones still look good, but I'm no expert. Great job btw
I changed them cause I was having alignment issues. The shop I go to advised me to get new LCA.
@TONI5-25 Cool, thanks for your reply
Did you get an alignment done afterwards?
Yes I did
Yeah honestly your best bet is a 1st gen tacoma. 96-04. Once you have one you’ll understand. The 5vzfe 3.4 is god like and they go well over 500k miles. Find a 4wd with the e locker and you’ll have something you’ll never want to let go. 1st gen tacoma is the best compact truck. Mine has 321k now on the original drivetrain. And i’m a dodge guy through and through
Yeah you can’t go wrong with the Toyota pick ups. I have a friend that had a first gen Tacoma, that thing was super nice. Wish I could afford one they’re a bit pricey but well worth it.
On my civic there was a little bit of damage done to the bumper on one side so I have to come up with a different way of mounting it on the drivers side. Im so close to having it road worthy. This video really helped me out!
Good luck with that!!
Ain’t nothing like a dang good ol Ranger!
Does more expensive mean more better tho?
Maybe on paper, but for the average person I say the budget build wins.
The best truck ever is my 2005 Toyota Tundra Access Cab. Still relatively small, and it has factory towing package of 7300 lbs. Just broken in at 228k miles, lol.
I can’t argue with you. Most of the Toyota truck line up is top tier. You can’t go wrong with a Toyota. Only thing I think the Ranger has over the Tundra or Tacoma is the price nowadays.
This is probably why they havent uploaded the final vid
lol ikr they’re taking way to long on it!
I daily to work a 93 Ford ranger 2wd 5sp with the 2.3, just hit 511,000 miles! Still rocking the original drivetrain and nothing ever rebuilt. Still has 3 of the 4 original ball joints! 3000 mile oil changes has proven effective. Valvoline high mileage max. I paid $1400 for it 14 years ago with 223,000 miles, it needed a new hydraulic master cylinder for the clutch, thats why so cheap. Never thought it would still be running today. Crazy
Half a million miles, that’s insane! You’ve got to love these old Rangers.
@TONI5-25 yep,
2.3l is a great engine. Combined with a 5sp = bullet proof little truck.
I have a 96 xlt regular cab, I call him Rufus. Lol. Love this truck. 2.3 auto.
The 2.3 is a great engine. If you take good care of it, it should last forever!
Danger danger its a ford freakin ranger Mine was awesome did many many jumps and when washed it still looked new!
Love these trucks. The rear shakles tend to rust keep any eye out. There is a drain in the cowle that can clog and cause rust on the floor boards. I loved these trucks because they has stake pockets. You can put sideboards on them. Perfect for side hustle leaf/trash removal. Most new midsoze trucks don't have stake pockets.
Good info! Although I live in a dryer climate, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for that drain plug. My brother and I love these trucks, it gets the job done for most jobs.
I owned 3 of them from 1980's to 2000 all of them 4 cyl. Tough as nails!
They are built to last for sure!
Slow as a snail. However reliable without question!
Can't find those 2.3l where I live. Always just the 3 and 4 litre.
I’m curious where you’re from. The 2.3 is pretty common here in the U.S. at least down here by the southwest.
@TONI5-25 Ontario Canada
That probably explains. They might’ve not sold many 2.3l in Canada.
@@TONI5-25 I can only find the 2.3 l in the Mazda version and they look like garbage
I'm here because of Hank Hill. He had a Ranger before. :) Though I'm thinking of getting a Gen 1 Tacoma when I get my license. I just think Japanese cars are more reliable than American and European cars. No offense.
No offense taken, I love Japanese cars. The only bad thing about Japanese trucks is how expensive they are. Anyways good luck hope you find something fun and reliable 👍
I miss my Ford ranger.
They’re awesome little trucks.
My 2000 civic does not have that valve and when it’s hot on traffic idle goes high 2k rpm no codes no check engine just cleaned IAC valve and sensors ,new coolant sensor and still having tht problem
That sounds like a tough one, have you tried checking the vacuum lines?
@@TONI5-25 the car just does tht like after 2 hours driving then if I get stuck on traffic but yea I have checked vacuum lines and looks good
Shhhhhiiiiiii
Great work, hate the music.
Thanks for the watch, I'm glad the video was helpful.
Pull out my compressor for Rebuild Install back compressor but then trouble Install back aircond belt LoL Loosen the adjust 10mm but couldn't get in Loosen the 10mm Lock 😂 No space
It's what you can expect working on cars lol. Nothing ever goes smoothly.
I was there!
I didn’t know these existed looks cool
Yeah they were insane to watch in person
Thank you my dude that did the trick 💪😎
For sure, glad the video helped.👌
2 shitbox's
Bought a 09' Fa5 recently with 129k miles on it. Drives like it's new. I'm keeping it for a long time
Nice, hope you enjoy your new ride!! 😎🤙
You axle boot is ripped.
Yeah I know. Expect a video for it in the near future.
Thanks for the video ! It literally took 5 minutes. Very easy process.
Glad I could help!!
I just got a 4 door si they dope lil cars
Hell yeah bro welcome to the club🤙
Very informative. Thank you for posting this.
Of course I’m glad the video helped!👍
Clickbait
It’s literally Ebay hose kit
@@TONI5-25 it’s the fact that urs are a black and not red but got red ones in the thumbnail that’s clickbait
I'd suggest changing your video title to "How To Replace" instead of "How To Fix". I've already replaced mine once, and it's having the same failure, so I was hoping to find something going deeper into the design of the part, rather than just replacing it.
Will do, thanks for the feedback!
