The Hemi and Non-Hemi Predators both have different style gas caps. The Hemi style is taller and bulkier....at least they were 5 years ago.

You put the wide up through the emulsion tube...And did what? I'm thinking of feeding a thin (obviously!) guitar string down; the whatsit at the end of the string will be made to sit, hopefully, on top of the tube. Then yank!

If you had test fit your rear hub/brake/spacers/axle assembly, by interchanging the two smaller bushings, you would have found they all fit without the stop bolt hitting the sprocket, and you wouldn't have had to cut the stop bolt, which was unnecessary....

Nice bike! My father and I made minibikes when I was a teen. Dad fabricated the frames the rest was up to me. It was a great learning experience and a lot of fun. I learned how to use a lot of tools and how to fabricate.

Great Job. I just built an Azusa with My 3 Sons over the Summer Had a 196cc in it but changed to 212. Recently I took the Stock tank off and put a Cylinder Tank right under the top of the frame. Use to be on top. Also put a put a 22mm Mikuni Carb with a new Throttle and Brake lever. Really didn’t like the stock ones. Runs really good now. Dig the Orange. Favorite Color on Mini Bikes. Definitely get a Clutch cover from OMB. I put one on. Very easy and pretty cheap. The 2 Bolts go in right above the clutch.

On tecumsehs you can stick a allen wrench thru the carb where the butterfly is and push down....sometimes it works

You could mount the gas tank on top of the frame with zip ties or actual mounts and run a longer hose to the carburetor it should be a pretty low budget project as well

I had the same problem with the having to cut the bolt that rubbed against the sprocket. supplier acted like I was inventing problem...

If you get a non h mi the gas cap is already thin like that so that's what i did and it worked

Do yourself a favor, spend $5 on a chain guard or you may be having surgery on your ankle if that chain ever lets go. Nice bike, mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, gonna paint mine yellow cause Jesse James said he would never build a yellow bike and I do not care to much for him, plus it is the color of my FZ-09.
