Honestly it’s just the camera mic lol, no external mic used. Camera is Sony A7iii if you’re curious!

I haven’t personally tried the m1 v3, but from looking at a video, I’ll say that the only reason you’d get the original m1 is if you like the gold side accents and the smaller knob because that looks like the main differences. Sound wise, the new one should be slightly better, and it’s cheaper, so m1 v3 should be an easy choice!

This is a difficult question because they’re such different keyboards, the answer may be completely different based on your preferences. It will mostly depend on your budget (Monsgeek is cheaper), preferred material (nuphy has PC bottom and Monsgeek is full aluminum), layout, and asthetics.

It’s possible that there’s a bit of resistance from the stabilizers. However, if you’re sure that’s not the case, my recommendation is to spring swap the spacebar for a heavier spring. Springs should be really cheap!

Yeah I have to agree with that :/ I’ve tried everything in my power to fix it from changing the stabs, relubing the stabilizer, changing the switch, and I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s a misalignment inside the hot swap socket that makes the switch sit slightly crooked. Can’t fix that unless I desolder the socket.

how to do force break mod? also i have gateron oils with cerakey v2 on tofu60 2.0 and idk why my long keys (with stabs) sound very quiet (i use AP tx screw ins)

I believe I did like 2-3 layers of tape mod, and for the polyfill idk just do what seems like a reasonable amount lol. Just make it so that there’s no sparse areas, but don’t have it be bursting at the seams either.

If you're talking about doubleshot pbt specifically, then sure. But if we consider other materials as well, dye sub pbt is also pretty deep pitched and ceramic keycaps out thock them all.

In this build specifically, they play a HUGE role, the board sounds completely different without ceramic caps!

Sorry, I don’t have those switches but upon looking up a sound test, I can’t imagine they they would sound bad. They sound like the perfect sound profile for cerakeys!

It’s probably fine, I just feel that hand lubing is always better, so I did it. You probably won’t notice too much if you don’t though.

Luckily for you, it’s removable if you unscrew the top case! It’s just two gold colored pieces that slide right out. You can paint them different colors or replace them with a polycarbonate accent or something if you’d like!
