What’s your take on the cerakeys on the oil kings? In terms of the weight of the ceramic keycaps to the springs of the switches. Especially the spacebar.
Pretty late to the party on this one, but thanks for the video! Just ordered oil kings, a Zoom 75, and some PBT keycaps based on your video! Being totally new to this, the lingering question I have is how is the typing experience on KAT keycaps? They seem kind of high. I like their sound but went with Cherry styled for familiarity. Thanks!
Initially, the caps felt pretty high tbh. But after a while I got used to them and tbh they’re really comfortable! Do note that the shape of the cap will also affect the sound, the taller kat caps usually lead to a deeper sound than cherry pbt caps. Enjoy your zoom!
@@SpinierYard212 It's pretty perfect for the keyboard, as you can see on the front it's just a few millimeters below the front ledge and it's really comfortable.
Thanks for the vid, I actually have some Oil kings and GMK ordered. Very helpful for sound profile reference. Will try some PBT caps to mix it up too.

Didn’t bother me tbh, was conscious of the possibility at first but I never even noticed a difference
Question, for your stabs did you use the pcb tape shims included with the wuque stabs or did you just install the tx ap stabs it without the shims?
I installed the stabs without any tape
