Timber Framed Pole Barn: Foundation
This is not a how-to video, I’m just a random dude who likes to build stuff and we need a new pole barn. Thanks for watching
All that being said here’s what I did:
1. 6in pilings on 5ft centers
2. 8x8x20s across the top of the pilings
3. 2x8s on 13in centers across the top
4. 2x8s as decking on the top
- all lumber is .60CCA treated
- all screws and nails are stainless steel
- using hurricane straps everywhere
All foundation materials provided by:
Lumber Specialties Inc, Tampa FL- The best material source for contractors, home builders, and dock builders.

How to Fix Live Edge Slabs and All About Rosewood
The money is cool but it’s about the passion and dedication to making beautiful pieces with stunning wood.
Cool
Hammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you guys still using the uv cutting finish?
Do you have a trick to keep that purple looking that color, or will it brown over time?
Ah the Wen drill press motor, industry standard for finger smashers.
I know what im doing tomorrow after work
Looks like you've seen mine! Nice start! th-cam.com/users/shortsNTcUHF7xpcM?feature=share
Honestly I wouldn’t bother using a drill press as my drive the step pullies are completely waisted in that set up The foot pedal is how you control the speed so any washer or dryer motor would work just as well with less things to break and less trouble shooting when things don’t work
non polyurethane clear acrylic is also a good choice . non off gassing and non toxic and can be applied without special equipment . just brush on and sand lightly with one or two light touch passes and you're ready for another coat . very hard and long lasting
That was pointless
Looks great
are you using clean armor matte or satin? and which chimver are you using for the final, a matte or satin?, looks good!
Been a minute.. welcome back
What grits / pads did you sand with for the matte version?
high recoil vibration😂
Great idea! I love ingenuity.
amazing!
Tyler is too cool 😂. Purpleheart is gorgeous, but like all exotic woods with amazing colours, they soon turn dark brown, regardless of what you do to preserve the original look.
If you need a tool make a tool. Quote from Alex steel. Awesome job and innovation.
میمیری با دستت بزنی
Nice short but WTF is going on with that "music"
Like the idea of using the drill press for an adjustable speed control.
Do the Cuvo lights cure the Chimiver as well? Or does that require a different wavelength UV?
Crackhead power hammer, I love it
rookies, you show your lack of knowledge on using the machine….especially with a long board. Simply stupid with no common sense or thought process!
That purple heart cutting board SLAPPIN👍🏾 Look like Lean if u know what i mean 🤪
I have a shop fox that is exactly the same machine. It's very underpowered and doesn't even have the ability to convert the motor to 240v . You will be constantly reseting your circuit breaker with this machine.
Wild setup😂
I am also annoyed with the dust collection. Otherwise seems very solid and definitely accurate cuts.
Now that’s a Table! But how do you keep the Purple Heart.. purple?
Music makes it unwatchable
Word on the street is, wood floors are supposed to be kept above the water line
Great video. Odie's Oil just seems so gimmicky-- no clear disclosure of the exact ingredients, wild claims of it being the best finish ever, etc, etc. make me question the company, and I've seen many woodworkers report that they delete negative reviews from their website, which makes it appear that *everyone* who uses Odie's has a 5-star experience. Pretty shady if you ask me. So I'm actually kinda happy (and not surprised) to see Odie's come in last place. It's more like snake oil than hard wax oil in my opinion. Just heard about the Vesting LED Oil today from a different TH-cam video and am considering trying it out. Happy to know that it held up so well in this case! Thanks for the info!
Yep. This is the type of stuff I see when I venture into the hills of West Virginia
What kind of tard music is this?
How many RPM does that electric motor run at

Welcome to the horrible tattoo channel, featuring cheap Chinese products for you buy . . .
You didn’t understand this boot is a heritage boot meaning it’s not a work book, if you got to the website it has two types of boot category heritage which is consider casual wear and work boots.
The MOST important aspect of a sander for me is vibration, period. Sanding quality and speed usually comes down the to the sandpaper, which is Cubitron II or nothing!
Can it be used for wood floors? What are disadvantages?
I set it in the sun for couple minutes and it works great.
There was no lifetime warranty with mine. I had to purchase one separately
This product was worse to assemble than anything from IKEA.
Said it's not FDA-approved for cutting boards yet your video shows you putting it on cutting boards, what up
I bought this sander many years ago. It has always had issues. I had to replace the inner bearing after about a year of light use. Probably the hardest part to replace on the machine. It always sounds like it is going to disintegrate at any time! This was all I could afford at the time. I am going to upgrade to a new sander.
Would Clean Armor work well on cornhole boards?
Your ETS EC125/3 EQ vs Bosch GEX34-6N comparison is flawed not b/c of the pad size, but because of the stroke size. The Bosch is 4mm, the festool is at 3; The 3mm stroke is a specialized sander for finishing a finish and is significantly slower than even the equivalent 5mm from Festool.
