In india we have the vegan version of this called pakora.. it can be made with any one vegetable..or mix veggies, gram flour nd some spices

How long can you keep your yakitori sauce some Japanese yakitori sauce I have made or grown back from Japan I can keep up the 23 years in the frigerator how long can I keep your yakitori sauce
Thank you for your comment. My sauce is just for one time use and I'm not sure how long it will last🤔 I'm sorry. You must have your special method to keep your sauce for 23years long!! Japanese yakitori restaurants keeps their own sauce like you to maintain their taste.

Oh dear god. What is this? You simply show the recipe clearly, step-by-step, silently with text on screen and no ultra-irritating "Hi guys today I'm gonna make this amazing bla bla bla" at the beginning??? This is NOT how TH-cam Works!!! But honestly, thank you SO much. It's very different to the normal recipe, though? Each time I've made it before, I make a full batter in a bowl with water and ice and so on... and it rarely turns out well. I'm very interested to try this different approach... I'll try it now!

Thank you for your comment☺ Kakiage supposed to dip into Kakiage sauce and I try not to add extra salt. It's ok if you want to put some salt, if you want☺

I don't use parchment paper😊 The paper one you saw in the pic is which we call "Tenshi" to use as a sheet of tempura for removing excess oil and keep crispy. You can substitute with cooking paper, but don't forget to remove it before serving😊

Any substitute for sake ?
Sorry for late reply... Unfortunately, there is no substitution of Sake, but you can just skip adding Sake, the taste will be fine. Adding Sake makes tastes Gyudon more rich and also distinguish some smell which beef has, but UMAMI will come out from beef meat so don"t worry! Hope your Gyudon works well😍

Can I use normal vinegar instead of rice vinegar?
Sorry for being late reply… If you meant normal vinegar as white vinegar, you should add extra sugar just a little bit because white vinegar has more sharp taste than rice vinegar. It’s ok to substitute with grain vinegar as well if you could find it. Thank you for your comment😊
