I had exactly the same car & also changed the fuel pump. I watched TH-cam how to videos on the American Ford Contour as the ones for the Mk2 Mondeo weren’t very good in 2017 & it was surprisingly painless. My car was identical to this an X reg 2L automatic Ghia X salon in silver with black leather interior & sunroof with only 69k on the clock I was the 2nd owner. The only issue in my two years ownership was the fuel pump failure. It drove like a new car & everything worked, heated windscreen, heated seats. All for just £360 off eBay in 2017 & I sold it in 2019 for £600. Alas it disappeared off DVLA database in 2020 so the new owner must have scrapped it after a year. Best cheap car I ever bought. I do remember a lot of hassle looking for the correct fuel pump part & two separate Ford dealerships being useless & trying to see me Mk 3 pumps, a specialist acquired one for in the end. I did some long road trips in that car & it cruised on motorways in comfort.

Great to see you're still with us! The laptop reminds me of a show we did in Tampere, Finland. We borrowed it for the backing tracks but then it had a Windows Update about 10 minutes into our set, you know one of those annoying ones you can't postpone, but it was all in Finnish! The panic was REAL as the countdown ticked away and I had no clue how to end it/cancel it/or anything... Luckily the sound guy came to the rescue!
