I don't often use the Tumblr account zagorodnik. I used it for VOCALOID stuff, and not personal. Thank you for understanding.
The 'business address' is personal. You can send a message, but I will kill you if you send me spam.

Базар (Bazaar) fragment 1933 (ENGLISH IN CC)
DESCRIPTION ToC (read me lul lel lmao)
1) Normal description
2) About the fragment

Merry Christmas? I don't really post stuff like this on here (and I don't plan to ever again), but I post whatever here and my other channel is a bit more themed/organized. Those who want to find it will anyway, and I think it would be cooler to expose this to an audience who might not usually care about this kind of stuff anyway (that's you!)
The reason I post this at all is because I've seen people on Letterboxd talking about how they don't understand it (and some people giving it some really poor ones based on that). I figure translating what's being said might be helpful for those who don't understand Russian (who I had completely forgot may have run into this, too).
Perhaps in the future I'll add a French translation or crowdsource other languages, but I can translate Rus to Eng no problem and was going a little insane. The lyrics were found from a different upload of the fragment, so they may not be perfect (and one of the reasons I chose not to hard-sub).
I do really, really hope that y'all enjoy this as much as I do, though. It's not some like perfect godly cinema or something, but it holds a very warm place in my heart.

This is copy-pasted from my Letterboxd review. I don't really link to my personal stuff on this account, but I don't care if you find me.
The whole film, had it been completed, was an adaptation of the Pushkin story of the same name. The score was composed by Dmitri Shostakovich with the lyrics belonging to Alexander Vvedensky, which would later be the reason it halted production, as 'Muddle instead of Music' was published in 1936 and Shostakovich would be censored. Tsehanovsky had decided he was going to put together the completed parts, but it was left in Lenfilm's archives which were later affected by the bombings of Leningrad. Tsehanovskaya (his wife) managed to save the Bazaar scene that survives today, and it alone is an extremely impressive and bittersweet reminder of what could have been.
The bazaar scene is meant to depict all kinds of strange people from all over the place, and in turn many caricatures range from uncomfortable to racist. The people around are advertising their wares, with some selling food and one strange looking man quietly selling pornography to the viewer. There also seem to be some minor animation errors (the woman at the end meowing with her cat, though that could be intentional) but the animation is incredibly smooth for how early in the century it is.

'This city is too evil to be left standing!' This is probably one of my favourite tracks from the game. Miraculously, it was also one of the easiest to transcribe. I do these by ear, you know! This one and 'Wren Transforms' are the only two tracks I had ready to upload. I've done a bunch more, but I'm not sure which ones I want to upload and when... These are the ones I currently have complete:...

Xanadu (Dragon Slayer II) - La valse de Xanadu (3 ver.) (WonderSwan cover)
มุมมอง 203 หลายเดือนก่อน
Based on the PC-88 version of the soundtrack. I'm no good at this game, but the music keeps me playing even if I'm lost. The MSX2 version of Xanadu has an entirely different soundtrack, so I might post something about that, too. Xanadu is the second installment in the Dragon Slayer series by Falcom. I don't know terribly much about it other than it's got a funny copy protection scheme and also ...

Based mostly on the PSG version of the soundtrack. I'm not actually a huge fan of the PSG version of Phantasy Star's soundtrack, but I do like the different keys that it's in. My dad played the SEGA Ages version on the Switch when I was in school, so I grew up more used to the FM version. I actually have a lot of Phantasy Star stuff done, but most of it is for Phantasy Star III. I'm considering...

Based simultaneously on the PC-88 and SMS FM versions of the soundtrack. Anotha one. I really enjoyed listening to this one while playing, even though I definitely went through here while underleveled @_@ One of these days I'll bother finishing the RPG. My computer is trying to turn into a nuclear weapon right now so clearly not tonight, but... If you are interested in playing the original Ys, ...
Ys I - Feena (Title Screen) (WonderSwan cover)
มุมมอง 464 หลายเดือนก่อน
Based simultaneously on the PC-88 and SMS FM versions of the soundtrack. Is Ys a popular franchise? I feel like it's much lesser known outside of RPG fans, but my sense for that stuff is always warped. For how influential Falcom's RPGs were, it's so strange to me that I never hear people talk about them. (The original 'Xanadu' is probably my favourite example) If you are interested in playing t...

Commentary available in closed captions. Also I didn't really bother proofreading so I hope it's not too scuffed Magical Drop is the first in a series of puzzle games, originally made by Data East. This is the enhanced version 'Magical Drop Plus 1!' that was later released internationally as 'Chain Reaction'. Despite this new name, it would be dropped in favour of the Japanese name for subseque...

Lower pitched than the original tune just cuz I liked the way it sounded. Sorry if that bothers someone. At some point I do want to actually work within the limitations of the WonderSwan chip, but right now I'm more trying to get the hang of using instruments, effects, etc. I particularly like the sound of the bass instrument here-it reminds me of Metal Gear 2, even though that was on a differe...

Sorry if there's some weird audio crackling, I forgot I was torrenting something while rendering this and I can't tell if it's my computer giving up or my ears finally giving out. For context, I'm using a pretty old Surface Pro 7 to do basically like, everything. My only alternative is a $100 HP laptop I use to try out various flavours of Linux I'm not the biggest fan of classical music, but I ...

Main theme for Shir Gold's adventure in Phantasy Star II Text Adventures. I have a lot of FL projects for the themes from these games, so it's been nice to 'port' them over to an actual tracker instead of fighting for my life trying to use only three simultaneous sounds to mimic the AY or whatever. Now that I'm using a tracker, though, I don't really care about sticking to hardware limitations,...

I'm really new to this kind of stuff, so it probably doesn't sound nearly as good as it could. This song is one of the easiest ones I know how to recreate, so at least I can get the hang of things pretty easy. Song is the main theme from Phantasy Star II Text Adventures: Amia's Adventure. I just used a ZX beeper and an AY, I figured it was nothing special. Unused channels weren't included in th...

This was gonna accompany an Osu! gameplay video but I decided it deserved to be its own thing. I only edited it a little from the original, so it might have some weird wording. Well, outside of adding enough until the song played through. Most of the footage is sped up and either from today (31 Jan 2024) or sometime within the past two months. Please don't rip anything from this and repost it, ...

2024! I had something completely different planned for New Years, but I felt motivated to complete this first. Maybe I'll post it in like fucking June or some shit LOL This entire cover is a labour of love. Фиакр (Fiakr) is one of my favourite bands ever, and this song is probably one of their best. Unfortunately, there is very little information about the band themselves, but I will tell you w...
Minky-Momo Panicball (Technopolis Soft 1984) - PC-88 Playthrough
มุมมอง 123ปีที่แล้ว
Minky-Momo Panicball (jp. ミンキーモモのパニックボール) is an arcade-style game for the PC-88, released in 1984. This appears to be the second game published by Technopolis Soft, but of course I'm not sure how to verify that. While the game lacks a CPU cap, I'm playing it at the original 4MHz it expects, since the audio in the game only gets worse if you make it higher. This game was released for the PC-8801...

я хочу яблоко
My life ❤❤❤
Это страшно только для тех кто не был в России
Я бы не назвал это страшным, скорее уопротым и угарным, как те видео, где в катсценах игр выкрутили анимации лиц персонажей.
what the actual fuck is this
Видимо в том мире живут мутанты, страшнее чем в Сталкере.
😂
Если бы это адское отродье было выпущено, то оно бы сломало психику не одной сотне детей if this hellish spawn had been released, it would have broken the mental health of more than one hundred children
Poor Arle has been dealing with this creeo for so long...
Я тоже хочу яблоку, акари

Quite epic
THIS IS SO GOOD????
Было очень мило спасибо за ролик

I started learning Russian literally yesterday and one of the only words I know is apple so I think this was fated to find me
русский вокалойд это конечно сильно
No idea how I got here but nice cover !
По-моему она хочет яблоко
schezo thrusts until he busts
Come on, there was clearly power in that wall he could take!
too many trebles
damn pretty good actually
I think this is cool, especially because this would be possible on a real ZX Spectrum due to it having the ability to pair the Beeper and the AY chip.
as long as he used the ay8910 not ay8930
@@luigikoopa8771 Oh yeah that is true.

hi poet
Hi bees
i remember when foggy corpse came out surprised your still making music. have a good day!
Haha trust me, I'm surprised too
@@z_grdm6816 i got question, will you ever make a playlist with all your old songs unlisted from the chip and poet fog era?, strovi has done something similar with their old music
Got this reccomended after cowbell... idk how to feel about that and if it is a good or bad sign
I misspelled спасибо are you kidding me
womp womp :)
How is this not a meme yet…
I feel like this is the best father and daughter thing of them 😭
Wait, is there something about this video that you guys know that I don't know?
Ok, thank you TH-cam and z_grdm for showing me this, now I know it exists and probably will forget about it in a couple of hours.
This is one of the best Cyber Songman songs out there.
Now replace the girl with Medic TF2 and watch the views roll in. We live in a society

вау, загородник каково быть человеком на которого подписаны гоуст?

Hey! Do you still have the bad boy vsqx? Could you please share it? Thank you!
When will the original vocaloid songs comeback?
Listen, dude, I completely understand how you feel, but I'm not gonna reupload my older works onto this channel. I made most of those when I was 13-14. I'm almost 20 now. I've had my mind made about not reuploading my old VOCALOID stuff for six years, and I'm not gonna change my mind any time soon. You've been asking me for three years to reupload my old stuff. I admire the dedication, but constantly pestering someone to do something makes them want to do it even less, myself included. Not to mention when you had spammed my messages over it, do you think I forgot about that? Even GHOST and their goons don't like posting their old works for reasons that are neither of our business. Didn't you see how upset they got when I reuploaded Peeps, which is something I was a part of? They had to go on an alt account to be rude to me because they were too pussy to say it to my face. I won't even mention the other grief that group put me through. If you want to listen to them, the video featuring a lot of my old music is still up. The on-vocals will never see the light of day again, and I don't plan on remastering the songs from that time. They're in my personal archives, so don't worry about them being lost forever-but you probably won't listen to them ever again. I really appreciate that you enjoy my older music, and I'm glad it was able to give you whatever it did when it was still up. I'm gonna be nice and politely tell you to get off my dick, though, because it's really frustrating when I post something new that I had fun doing and every single comment I get from you is about my older works. It's comforting to hold onto the past, but I've moved on from that era of my life, and I would appreciate if you could, too.
peeps
this is super neat that your video popped up in my reccs. neved heard of either of the songs you used but i like em. i find your coloring technique really neat most of all!! i usually set a midtone then work darker wnd lighter, i like your method of dark to light and the shapes it creates. might try that out myself.
This is so very lovely
