Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (1Timothy 1:17)

Maybe you could talk slower or take longer to get your point across!?
That blue handle material looks cool! I wish case would get their stuff straight!
That’s a cool Parker brother!!👊🏻
All knives you are able to acquire are good - just some are better than others. I like your knife haul.
Exactly!😄 Thanks for watching.👍🏻
If the surface on those scales are their natural finish then I would say it is stag because the surface is less consistent then the machined surface of bone. Your free find just goes to show you should never overlook a box of junk and discards. Gems can be found if you are ready to find them. Nice cleanup.
You're right. The junk box is usually where the treasure is hidden!😃👍🏻
Thanks for presenting your cleaning and rejuvenation of that nice Camillus camp knife. I am on the look out for anything similar with nice light bone scales like that. It is so nice to see old knives that have not had the blades warn down to a nub. The dental floss is a new idea for me. Cheers.
I appreciate you checking it out! It's pretty exciting to see those old knives clean up so well. There are some jewels out there!
I like that burn you did on the bone, looks great.
Thanks! I appreciate that. I was really hesitant to try it.
That is a nice old knife. Looks like a camp knife. The bone scales are going to look great. It's amazing how muck prying those knives did, that's probably how the main blade tip was broken. Looking forward to your magic for the knife. Would love to hear stories of where that old knife has been.
It's in good condition, just covered with a lot of crud accumulated over the years. It cleaned up really well! Check out the clean up videos! Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub!😃👍🏻
This is pretty cool, a knife from Ireland the land of our heritage, and an Elvis knife - one of our favorite memories! I gave you two knives, I think you should give me the Elvis knife - whatdaya think? LOL! love ya', Bro.
Yeah, I knew what would happen when you saw it! 😄 It's pretty cool!😎
Dewayne is an awesome feller, and a good friend. That fish knife is very cool. Pretty covers on it. The Elvis story is awesome. Not many can say they met the King. Thanks for sharing brother. God bless.
Yeah, I like Dewayne quite a bit. He's a fellow Kentuckian, too!!😃👍🏻 That was early in Elvis' career and a pretty cool era. Quite an experience!
Some great stuff!
Yessir! Very nice!🙂
I like the Parker! I’m thinking of trying it myself. The jigging and burn looks good! I love the Elvis meet story! That’s awesome and you’re welcome! God Bless Y’all!
Thank you, Dewayne. That was a very cool package. I'd never seen one like the JOWIKA. I'm gonna keep my eye out for that brand. Thanks for the compliments on my mod. That was a situation where I decided to stop before things turned REAL bad!😄 BTW... I got your name spelled correctly now!😉
I love that little Parker!! I think you did a fantastic job as your first attempt! And the little bit of toasting that you did really gave it some character 👏
Thanks, Aaron. I'll probably try to spiff it up down the road. Gonna have to improve my technique on some scrap material. I sure appreciate the encouragement, brother!
Very nice knives, I like the blue on that fish knife. That was a cool story about meeting Elvis with your sister. You better not show her that knife.
She watches my videos so, it's probably too late!🤣
@@tedhart7708 oh no… 😟
I bought 3 of the Red Bone Barlows, all because of you. I love mine. Now I am going to make up some nice leather slips for them.
Awesome! They're great knives. USA made, bone handles, carbon steel, and half price! I'm surprised they're not sold out.
I've "looked at it" lol. Nice.
Beautiful job done . Isn't it a engineer knife ? Some had USM for Marines and some have USA for Army some have USN for navy . WW2
Thanks, I appreciate that info. I've got knives from all the way back to my youth and have collected off and on throughout my life. But, it's only been the past several months that I've taken a real interest in restoring some knives and trying to learn about them. It's been fun watching other channels, seeing other collections and learning from everybody.😃👍🏻
Awesome! It sure helps!
I love it! Simple but profound!😄
From the Westlock series. Well done laminated hardwood. I'm not sure what either. They came in different sizes and frame shapes with different or no critters etched. Beautiful knives
They are really nice. I was happy to find it!
Wow, Ted . What an amazing job you did bringing this ole gal back to life .. a true craftsman for sure
Wow! Thank you for that compliment. I appreciate that. And thanks for watching!😃👍🏻
Those are some mighty fine knives! Especially the red Barlow!
Yeah, buddy!😃👍🏻
My second pair of JG customs and my fourth pair of JG boots just shipped.
Awesome!
Yeah it's a nice one
Thanks for checking it out!👍🏻
Your work far surpasses anything l have seen the so called “doctor” achieve, well done
I certainly appreciate those kind words. Most of what I've learned has been from the Knife Doctor. The vast majority of the knives that I've refurbished have only needed some cosmetic help. The Doc is light years ahead of me in being able to repair and modify and he has inspired me to try this new hobby. I'm trying some simple repairs and mods and I'm coming along slowly. Thanks much for watching!😃👍🏻
Beautiful knife. Great job cleaning up. 👍🏻
Thank you! I appreciate that. I was really looking forward to how it would turn out!😃👍🏻
I’ve seen that to. Q C. Is the issue. Talked to a mechanic the other day. He said parts are hit and miss.
They sure need to tighten it up!
❤❤❤❤❤
Back when Schrade had just closed… And the name was bought not long after by Taylor.. I was busy running around, trying to find these knives at pawnshops hardware stores( my dad cleaned out the hardware store spent just over $2000 on the entire stock… but that’s another story) .. Anyways, I was not in a hurry. I drove over and around west of Atlanta out to Alabama on my route of elevator maintenance…. This was end of the day and I was driving back home.. pawnshop I never stopped at… hole in the wall.. Anyways… I was just talking with owner.. I didnt see anything worth while in the case.. But he told me he might have something I might be interested in… he went out to his car n returned with a sack of schrade schrade Walden hunters … one was well used others new condition . 7 or 8 . Some had two blades I think two had liner locks . One new one had custom stag handles ( nicely done) . Pawn owner said his friend just wanted to get rid of them. I tried to hide my excitement .. he gave me a give away deal .. I think 20 or 25 apiece . I think he just wanted this favor over with . One of my once n a life time deals … I had three others but not knife related. If u don’t go fishing u don’t catch any thing.
I was able to pick up a few at that time but I wish I had gotten more. That's a fantastic story. Those kinds of deals are what everybody hopes for. Thanks for sharing that!!😃👍🏻
Nice old western!!!! Beautiful!!
That was a great find! Pristine condition!👌
I'm done with them due to QC issues on last 3 knives I purchased. Bad grinds, defects on the points of 2 and poor blade centering.
I sure hope that they re-focus and get a grip on things.
@@tedhart7708 me too. Seems to have been a problem for a while now.
Nice job on the clean up! It comes thru that you enjoy it! God bless you and your family! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for those kind words! It was a special project. Glad you checked it out!😃👍🏻
That is exciting!
Thanks for watching and leaving some comments!😃👍🏻
That was a cliff hanger ! Glad not worse!
It was like a punch in the gut when it hit the concrete floor! So thankful nothing broke.
Beautiful! I’m a big camillus fan. Good job n thanks for sharing!
Camillus made some great knives. Thanks for watching!👍🏻
@@tedhart7708 I’m a big fan of the blade forums camillus collector forums … love these knives … been able to get better deals on old camillus as compared to case… every one wants an arm n leg for beat up case … so unless I see a case for heck of a deal . I don’t touch them .. I just pick up schrade n camillus usa
Nothing at all wrong with that. Those old Schrades are pretty awesome knives. I have a few of those, too.
Excellent job my friend! That is night and day! Sorry you dropped it, but like you said, it could've been worse.
Thanks! I appreciate that. It would have been devastating if the blade or one of the implements had snapped. Don't know what I would've done!😫
Nice Restoration Ted 👍 cool old Bone Camillus’. Stay Cool
Thanks! I appreciate that. It was exciting to get the knife and to see it clean up so well!😄
The camp type knives are my favorite! Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you for checking it out! They are some pretty cool knives!😃👍🏻
Great looking knife! Great job restoring this one Ted!!
Thanks, I appreciate that. It was a fun and satisfying project!
It looks much better than it did yesterday.
I agree! It sure does. Thanks for checking it out!👍🏻
Doesn't look like the same knife - great job!👍👍
Saw your other comment first. I guess you did see both!😜
@@tedhart7708 Yes, I did.😃
Looks great to be about 90 years old! I am so glad you gave it new life!
It turned out great! I'm glad you found it and let me clean it up. I'll bring it when we come up next!!😃👍🏻 Did you see both parts?
@@tedhart7708 👍
Quite an improvement! Good job!!
Thank you so much!😃👍🏻
POST DISASTER!
Part two will be coming right up!
Nice little piece of American history there Ted. I can't wait to see the finished product!
Thanks for checking it out. Getting ready to post the cleanup shortly!!
That’s a gem, all it needs is some polishing.
Thanks for checking it out. Cleanup video coming up shortly!!😃
Welcome.
Very nice knife. I'm not sure but I've read where usa on those is united states army but not sure
Seems like I remember reading that, too. Camillus did make knives for military use. Thanks for checking it out!👍🏻
Gorgeous knife you have there. I have always loved the 4 line tang stamped Camillus knives, especially the wwII era knives. Can't wait to see that one cleaned up 😊 Take care and God bless you and yours ✝️ 🙏
Thank you! I appreciate your comments. I'm excited to see how it turns out!😃👍🏻
That's happened to me before, had to start over. That's a great lookin knife!
Thanks for taking a look. I'm really looking forward to how it turns out!🙂
