Great work. Truely good stuff. Well done sir.
Although the information is great, the editing in this video is quite poor. You dont have time to read the cards and instead of explaining what the cards do, the narrator talks about how often the combos are placed in decks (and is an extra distraction for understanding the combo's shown).
Great job explaining this. Thank you.
Why is it that this fantastic video only has around 200 likes?!?
❤❤❤ thanks for the vid. Good stuff
an update: mindbreak trap it's S tier now, nice video, thanks
Can someone explain to me how the rule works? "If a card has no mana cost, its escape cost is an unpayable cost, so you can't cast it for that cost."
I have a (almost) cEDH Tameshi deck which I build when he came out. So why am I finding this video just now.... this looks amazing and way more fun than my stax game plan. Love the video! Do you have an updated version of the deck?
Man i need more of these vids!
Hi, great video! The link in the description for the cEDH list is missing
not exactly understanding how you win once you establish the hull breaker or mirage combo… they both generate infinite mana but how does it win
I disagree with Stifle being low on this list. Ive run it in every blue containing cEDH deck, and it has really put in work. There are so many activated and triggered abilities worth stifling.
Thoughts on An Offer You Can't Refuse and Wash Away?
thank you for the video. Do you have an update about the deck?
Bro, you stopped recurring
Profane Tutor?
Could you make a video about a high power (non cedh) goodstufd kenrith deck that has emiel+dockside as an last resort win con?
Lavinia needs a massive update
I'm building a high power version of this deck and finding reliable information has been a chore. Particularly so, as I'm new to commander so I don't immediately recognize what makes a deck High Power vs CEDH worthy. Your video has been incredibly helpful, and I've returned to it several times while learning this deck and how to build it to my liking. Still wrapping up, but your video has been a tremendous help. Thank you, very much.
Well done! It's my new combo enabler with Oskar (the Rubbish guy). To do this and just win as reaction on a win trigger of your opponent ist fun as hell!
Hey Michael! First time watcher and new subscriber. I just started theory crafting for this commander the other night and am super happy I came across this video. You went in the exact direction I wanted to go with this deck. Would love to see you do an update on the progress you are making.
buried alive and phage the untouchable
>says "general" instead of "commander" >wary of crazy-powerful land spells* with basically zero opportunity cost BASED. *Remember when Wizards acted like that was a line they were not willing to cross? I remember.
Bro! I love your content. Wish you still uploaded. Getting your insight on recent tournaments would be cool. As well as reaching out to brewers to talk about their decks.
I May be wrong but you get infinite mana and card draw but how Do you win with the actual list on moxfield? Did you miss an aetherflux reservoir of a Jace to win with drawing of an empty library or with infinite cast through the reservoir?
Conjurer’s Bauble. Once you create infinite mana with Hullbreaker + mana-positive rocks, you can recur Winds of Rebuke infinitely and mill your opponents’ libraries. You can also bounce all their permanents, create infinite swans…playing in this way trims the fat of having to play do-nothing win cons like Thoracle, Jace, or Altar of the Brood (do-nothing as in cards that do nothing on their own, outside of a combo).
The fact signal the clans doesn’t make this list is a travesty. Signal the clans is low key one of the best tutors printed ever. Instant speed, 2 cmc, puts 1/3 creatures you literally hand pick into your hand at random. The at random bit can help with it not getting countered. The instant speed bit is insane.
signal the clans is the most disrespected tutor in the game. Instant speed. It’s pretty much only as bad as your deck is.
Huge missed stax pieces. Winter orb, static orb, lifeforce, deathgrip, douse.
What a great video. Wonder how strong people have found the decks? I really like their play style?
How do you play staxs in non white colors such as Green Black Bule, I'm looking into building Jorn god of winter as a stax build
I thought sevinne's reclamation would be in the deck for shure. Seams like a pritty free recursion that can recure basically everything you'd want including every combo piece except horror, I also think that trainig grounds would be a pritty good include, making almost every tameshi activation cost just 1 white and compensating for the returning lands. The LED combo with copy artifact is pirtty cool and haven't seen it anywhere before
Sevinne’s is a dangerous spell to put on the stack. Copy spells like fury storm can turn your sevinne’s into my 5 sevinne’s.
@@mtgtinfoilthaumaturge1102 "fury storm" really? the cEDH staple...?
Did I miss suppression field?
Thoughts on Attunement and Price of Knowledge?
This video is truly great
Any updates for korvold ? Going to build a hybrid treasure storm / food chain deck
This list is super cool! I struggled to find the right build for Tameshi when he was spoiled but this is exactly what I was looking for! Subbed!
You are playing him severely incorrectly.. if I we could talk and play a game, you will see EXACTLY what I mean. The way I built him is amazing and you need to see it. I home brewed it myself and therefore I don’t want to go public with it. The hint is that I do not use any of the counters you use except for stifle style counters only. Let that be a hint for you
at 15:50 how is it 2 mana off?
No runic arm or harsh mentor / scab clan berserker ?
I really enjoy these videos, they are insightful, but man these combos aren't fun to use imo. After testing some of them out, Idk. I just don't enjoy using them. Great videos nonetheless though, gonna through them all.
did u do an stax build for tameshi?
Great video deserves more watches!
Best list on the internet for cEDH play
How much removal in a deck? Casual v. cEDH. I'm trying to find a way to build some "Budget" cEDH decks.
I'm confused of the difference between red elemental blast and pyroblast, their text box although not completely word for word do literally the exact same thing.
REB is restricted to only targeting blue permanents or spells, which makes it more resilient to effects like Deflecting Swat that change the target, while Pyroblast can target nonblue permanents, making it better for decks that care about storm.
How many counterspells in a deck?
Depends on your deck, and the power level you're playing at. Cedh you want all of the auto includes so that's like 8 if you're a interactive deck you want more. Most I've seen in cedh is 12 counterspells
It varies a bit depending on the game plan, but blue decks tend to run 11-14 pieces of stack interaction from what I've seen.
@@RecurringInsight you haven't seen counter spell tribal then? Come on it's the best deck in cedh😂
@@RecurringInsight what is you're not blue?
great insight!
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Nice video! Don't forget about the rule of law effects as well :)
Thanks for watching! Yeah, they're definitely an important type, I go over them in Part Two.
"Slaughter pact" and "Snuff out" are both some tier 3 or fringe removal in cedh. Both cost 0 Mana and can hit everything except black creatures.
Excellent suggestions. Snuff Out I cut because only Yuriko was running it on the DDB at the time, but Slaughter Pact made it into K’rrik, Sygg, Kroxa, Hapatra, Varolz, and a Roger/Silas list back then, so I definitely meant to include it. Thanks for bringing them up!
