Several artists covered this Richard Kerr-Will Jennings song in the mid-70's (Batdorf & Rodney's version was my favorite). But when my then-girlfriend heard Barry's 1978 version, she fell for it and had me play it on radio every time I could. This song will always have a special place. For Debbie, forever. Peace.

Co-written by the immortal French chanteuse Edith Piaf, this song has been covered dozens of times. This one's pretty damn good.

Doesn't have to have to ask Sam to play it; he can do it himself. This could have been released on it's own and done well.

1985: "Everybody wants to rule the world, but we all know only I can" was how I did the intro for Tears for Fears' original on radio. This one sounds like the basic track, still needing extra vocals and sweetening, but pretty good on it's own.
