Your video was just suggested to me. I've run most of the Lawrence Trail Hawk's races but never the Hawk. You ran on some trails I've never been on like that lookout where you grabbed your tags. That plant with the pretty red tops was sasafrass which people used to make sasafrass tea. Thanks for sharing footage of that toad. Great job keeping motivated in the rain. Shouldn't we be using magnesium glycinate for better absorption? I've read that magnesium bisglycinate is best

Use Redmonds Real Salt. It's also a pink sea salt sourced from a family owned mine in Utah.
Why are you adding potassium chloride ? Isn’t that salt?
Potassium chlorode is a salt, in the scientific sense. But when most people say "salt" outside of a chemistry setting, they specifically mean sodium chloride (table salt). All good electrolyte mixes have potassium chloride as well as sodium chloride.

What about calcium lactate? You should call out Chloride in the pink Himalayan sea salt. It’s an electrolyte. Also, you need about 3,700 mg of potassium each day. My electrolyte source has 1,000 mg per serving which seems more in line with daily needs

Not sure how their potssium chloride supplement taste but their potssium citrate taste so ridiculously terrible like I've tried every supplement under the sun and taste so bad. So I suppose my question is if the potssium chloride tastes okay?
I don't find the taste to be bad at all. I taste the salt more than anything tbh
You can add some lemon or lime juice to it …or maybe a little OJ tho I don’t drink that stuff.
We may have here a classic case of “ taster/ non-taster”. It’s a genetic thing. Explanation too long to give here.😊

Thanks guy. Been looking for diy electrolyte drinks. They can be expensive so this is great. Just came down with gout again because of low potassium.
Yea I like the branded stuff (lmnt, skratch, bpn etc) but this is so much cheaper
Awesome job on the video, and congrats on the slam! Your video does a great job of showing how reflective the markers are at night. I'm not sure what the rest of your year looks like but I'd love to fun with you at flatrock. That course makes for tough miles and a beautiful video.

You're gonna love it! I use a leki carbon pole. It's a couple years old now so I'm sure they have a new model. I recommend the carbons just for the weight savings

After you finished the 56 did you wish you would have signed for the 100? Im kind of trying to make the decision which one to run as I've never been in a marathon before.
