The test addresses the NMBI domains of competency for the pre-registration programme in an attempt to ensure patient safety and public protection. You need an NMBI registration to work in Ireland. RCSI and NMBI jointly conduct the exams for the foreign-studied and registered nurses to check eligibility and competency.
