I think the C button may allude to a "new" gimmick where the console can wirelessly dock to the TV, with the C standing for Connect. Kind of like how the Wii U gamepad works.

Disugsting frames the screen is the same size of the OLED one with those huge frames. That is so dumm and stupid from Nintendo. Seriously Nintendo? Just more of the same, just bigger and shinier? That's Sony politics 101. Everytime they did this instead of taking the risk (GameCube was just a N64 with disc drive and it failed. Wii U was just a Wii on steroids and it failed) they crashed hard. They absolutely deserve it here for lack of innovation, this thing should bomb. But, I suppose the Switch Hype is way to big at this point.

I got the oled zelda edition for a good price and did a jailbreak on it, the amount of things I can do with it and the games that I can play is crazy, so if you’re okay with jail breaking it you’ll have a device that does almost everything

Honestly, i’d say yes. I’d even say it might be more worth it than a ps5 or xbox. The switch has awesome features and so many games that you honestly have a big enough catalogue to satisfy your needs. But if you’re patient yeah you should probably wait for the switch 2

Gamecube absolutely will not happen for technical reasons. Each game for the NSO apps has to be stored locally on the console. GCN games are just too big for that to be realistic given how small the Switch internal storage is - and I know you can have SD cards, but Nintendo isn't expecting every Switch user to have a 1TB card. At about 1.4GB per game, a GCN app would get really big, really fast. I'd definitely not expect GCN games until the next console.

I'm pretty happy with what's on serve here. But also because I don't own all the physical Game Boy games I want that are conveniently with the service.

I think it’s really dependent on the person. Both the snes and the n64 apps are in my top 10 most played games on switch, just cause I love so many of the games they already have. I agree that the rate they add games is too slow, but I still think the service is worth it for me (especially cause I split the price of a family membership between a few friends)

I mean if you could buy Smash 64 or Donkey Kong 64 on the e-shop right now would you do it? I'm gonna guess not. Most people only want them because they'd be free now, not necessarily because they're dying to play them. And I mean, there's very few big titles that are left now. NES and SNES are pretty much covered. GB, GBA and N64 have a little more to go but kinda just a handful more titles each on Nintendo's side. Several GameCube games have gotten remasters with 3DS and Wii games following that trend. Almost all big Wii U games are playable on the Switch. With the Switch 2 being backwards compatible, and probably getting GameCube and DS games on NSO, we'll have the biggest Nintendo library ever on a single console. Just have some patience. There's enough games to play in the meantime while waiting for the NSO releases. Edit: And why are you paying the 50$ subscription anyway if you don't like what Nintendo has to offer? Just pay for the basic plan, which is dirt cheap, if you want to play stuff online.

Good video! If you don't any online games for the Switch, the service definitely isn't worth it (especially the Expansion Pack). I really only have NSO for Smash Ultimate as I enjoy playing that game a lot online (even if it isn't the best online experience, to say the least). If you're wanting to play retro games, I think you're better off looking elsewhere, though. The Virtual Console was even a much better service as it offered way more. Nintendo's online services have always been lackluster, but this one is especially poor. There are a million and one ways to play retro games nowadays, so I would say skip NSO and just go play the games you want without relying on Nintendo's shoddy service.

The longer Nintendo waits, the higher the expectations. Just hope they really have something great.
