What an amazing trek it was ❤❤ ~ SP
Thanks for sharing~ will be coming to hike this Aug 25th, 2024..
Have fun!
You guys did great. Looks easy but not. Did you use an a tour guide or you book the hut yourself?
Hi we booked the hut ourself, a guide is not required for mt fuji so we just went on our own 😊
hello! how did you all manage your luggage, checking-in and out at different accommodations each day?
Hi we packed everything we needed for the 4 days in our pannier bags attached to our bikes. Our extra luggage we left at the bike rental shop.
Hi Im planning to do a RTI around Jeju with my wife. I find your videos on Jeju informative. Can i know which month did you went to jeju and also can i know your itinerary (days/ stay/ distance). Im planning to complete the whole RTI (not skipping any stops)
Hi, we went in early June. You can find our original itinerary here, including some additional attractions/ food stops that we had planned but didn't get to go: docs.google.com/document/d/17K07x9dICYesuey5lUhaxJF4yyaqZ7QmfGX30HKMV00/edit?usp=sharing
Also, the distance stated in the video description vs. itinerary may vary abit. The one in the itinerary is the standard distance between checkpoints, for the video description I used the recorded distance from my Strava including distance to any additional pitstops and to the accoms.
@@chasingpeaks_vlog Thank you so much 🙂
Hi what time did you get to the DENR then to ranger station ty?
Hi, we did the health check-up at around 6.30am, had breakfast and went to the DENR around 7.50am for the registration and briefing
Where do you book your accommodation from ?
Hi, the easiest hut to book on this trail is Taishikan, since they have a 3rd party site in Eng: www.fujimountainguides.com/mountain-hut-reservations.html However, we couldn’t get the dates we wanted from Taishikan so we had to check the individual hut websites to book directly. We eventually booked ours directly from Goraikoukan website: www.goraikoukan.jp/
Thank you for sharing
This is so helpful as we plan to climb in the future. Thank you. Very informative indeed. Greetings from Indonesia. 🥰
Glad you enjoyed the vid 😊
cannot wait for visit, hopefully next year. :)
Thanks for sharing! About to do this climb in 2 weeks' time - unfortunately we were too late and couldn't book the higher huts, so will be staying at 7th Station Tomoekan (shown in your video) which probably means we will be waking up even earlier than you (12 midnight to 1AM) to start our summit ascend! Your video was very helpful -- thanks for sharing! Question: any good tips on where to take the best photos at the summit? Thanks again!
All the best for your climb! It’s pretty crowded at the top, so I would recommend going earlier to find a good spot or walking in a bit further up the slope where there are less people.
I really want to climb fuji MT. next year. This video help to encourage me. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed the video 😊. All the best for your climb next year!
What an experience! How long in advance did you book the hut?
We booked our huts the sec the online booking opens! This differs from hut to hut but it’s usually in the Apr-May period. This climbing season is particularly popular, so we only managed to get a hut on our 4th try, they typically get fully booked within the first few minutes 😬.
Omg!! I climbed on the same day as you guys at 5:05 I can see my dad in the crowd too :)
Nice! Hope you enjoyed your climb as well :)
awesome video!! what time did u guys start ur hike at?
Thank you! We took the first bus from Shinjuku and reached the 5th station at 9.20am. But we only started hiking at around 11.30am so as to take time to acclimatise.
Waah asik nih
Hi, I'm also planning a cycling trip to Jeju with my wife and son. I'm worried that they aren't able to complete the ride to the next stop but I saw that you managed to get taxi for some of you with the bikes. Can you share with me the details? Thanks! By the way, nice videos! :)
Hi Nicholas, glad you enjoyed the video! The bike rental shop had helped us call and communicate with the taxi because we don’t speak Korean. I believe they are called jumbo taxis, and can fit up to 2 people and 2 bikes, and cost about 80 SGD total. Have fun on your trip!
May nabibilhan ba dun beanie & gloves?
may mga tindahan silang nagbebenta ng malapit sa registration office, pero mas maganda na magdala ka ng sarili mo
Walang liguan to no? Like bihis lang ganern?
2 lang ang banyo sa bundok tulad ng nakikita mo sa video, at bawal kang umihi lang kahit saan.
