Thanks for posting this film. I too made the trip to Isfahan and watched the eclipse in the Shah Abbas Square. Your video brings back great memories of the trip. The experience of a total eclipse is very special, the chance passing of the Earth through the shadow of the moon for a brief moment. But what made the experience so special was seeing a natural phenomenon like that amidst thousands of Iranian people. My hotel was 10 minutes walk from the square and it took me two hours because of the number of people who wanted to talk to me and welcome me to their country. Very keen to differentiate between the people and the government. Very proud of Persia. You clearly were moved by the eclipse but also touched by the welcome you received.

"horrible what you did"... well excuse me fool but if you look carefully you will notice that I'm doing the filming. So I'm behind the camera and that is a local Indonesian guy molesting the fish and not me. Did you think I was filming myself underwater with a tripod??? People like you should think before you post.

The music is by 'Dead Can Dance' and is called 'Yulunga (Spirit Dance)'. My soundtrack stops after a long intro before the percussion and vocal kicks in. It's a great track and can be found on the album 'Into the Labyrinth'. Leading up to 2.30mins is a recording of Tanna village children singing a welcome song.

in 10 years they wont be catching all those sharks and bill fish. the whole of that coast is so heavily fished and no fisheries management. more and more fishing boats every year. the fish have no chance.

There are no Great Whites in these waters. They like cold water such as Southern Africa and Western Australia. I have seen a shark looking like a maco with a pointy nose but I'm no expert. It had good long teeth though. I met it face to face while snorkeling in merky water and it was just as shocked as I was and sped off. There are white tipped reef sharks to dive with and they are quite harmless also black tipped reef sharks.

So nice... How lucky you are in Australia; in Europe we have Stromboli, Yasur's brother; but not far away from Australia in Vanuatu you have: very active Yasur; and lava lakes in Ambrym; and Lopevi... Would like to go there, but so far away!
