Baptism simply means to immerse. Throughout the Bible, the idea of immersion in water has served to teach us a valuable lesson...and yet we ask...what does baptism have to do with the Christian faith? Why do many who believe in God either not know about or reject the teachings of baptism? Let’s take some time to understand what baptism IS and what it IS NOT. Table of Contents 00:00 - Introducti...

Thank you so much. Faith through listening to the word and this faith draws the gift of Grace. You don't just sit back and just receive grace? You have to hear the truth inorderto believe and repent

The thief didn’t die before the Christian age began. That age began with John the Baptist and Jesus Christ’s ministry.

Why do we always presume that the thief on the cross was never baptised? We only have a tiny snippet of his life recorded in scripture. He may well have repented and been baptised before the Romans arrested and crucified him. It is clear that people were being baptised prior to Jesus’ death and resurrection; Matthew 3. It was also clearly taught by Jesus that baptism was an essential ordinance in order to be saved; Mark 16:16.

This is the mystery of christ. The regenerated new man by the spirit. The New Adam. The miracle NEW BIRTH. The christ (the anointing) IN YOU is the hope of glory. "To WHOMEVER overcomes he will inherit ALL THINGS. I will be his Elohiem and he will be MY SON" Revelation 21:7. The gospel story was written as spiritual allegory later literalized by Rome. We walk and are led by the Fathers Spirit. Our new spiritual man.

Adamic sin is the root of our iniquity; we are saved through grace. What else, other than Christ, do we have to save us from inherent sin? Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12)

How can anybody say the baptism is not part of Gods plan for salvation? That is one of the plainest things in scripture. Baptism is re-enacting the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord. It’s so simple!!! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and the opportunity we have to live with you for eternity ❤️

I think i agree that babies arent born sinners because they are innocent. because that would mean that babies that pass away are goin to hell because they have sin in them. But then that dont make sense because the bible teaches that our God is a Just judge and is Good. i mean i believe God gives us the Chance when we reacht that age of maturity and accountability weather to Choose Evil or choose God. But Thats just my opinion tho. I gotta study this more LoL and also this verse below that king david says implies something ig ? haha lol 2 Samuel 12:23 But now that he is dead, why should I go on fasting? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

If the thief can go to Heaven without baptism ; so can I. For God is no respecter of persons. There is no difference between the Old Testament salvation and New Testament salvation . All saints get saved by faith alone. Faith in Jesus Christ. There is only One Door.

  • @dan_m7774

What about the Thief? No evidence he was not baptized. Many were baptized in those days. The thief also went to Paradise not heaven. Christ himself would not go to the Father until the Ascension. Scripture says Baptism now saves you. Your preacher says trust his interpretation of scripture over clear scripture that one must be Baptized.

No, repenting means change of mind, not repenting of sins or lifestyle. They believed so they were saved then they burned their their books.

No, No, No! You are not right for saying Jesus came to the Tree during fruit season! That is not True, doing confuse people! Go and check out Mark11:13 and you will see that it was not time of Fruit! Rock can give you water without season, frog can be your worst armed force against you if God is not on your side! You can eat pure honeycomb from Lion carcass if God says so but this tree is not cooperating with the son of man who came for a mission! Your second mistake is when you claim that Jesus was not hungry while the Bible says it clearly in Matthew11:12

I cheat. I paste the text into MS Word, then use the Replace tool to replace all commas/periods with comma/period, paragraph (^p), so that all the phrases are on their own lines, first. Then I do the indenting, etc.

i put it to you the thief on the cross was infact baptized (spiritually) while he was on the cross. If you read Acts19 verses 1-6 you'll see Paul meets some newly made disciples and asks them "have you received the holy spirit since you believed?" The new disciples had not a clue as to what Paul was talking about in regards to receiving the holy spirit, so Paul questions what method they were baptized by. They replied "John the baptist method" (in and out of water baptism) Then Paul says "Truly i tell you, John baptized in repentance and believing on Jesus Christ" Verse 5 then says "And when they (the new disciples) heard this, they were baptized". So once the new disciples heard and understood what Paul had explained and the penny dropped, they were immediately baptized by the holy spirit, not later that day once they found a river or a lake, but immediately on understanding Paul's words. Same with Cornelius and his family, they received the gift of the holy spirit before any water was used . There are 2 baptisms, 1 is a spiritual baptism as described above in Act19 1-6 and 2 is the physical symbolic water baptism to show the world you are born again. So the thief on the cross did the 2 things required for spritiual baptism, he repented and believed in Jesus and therefore was baptized on the cross.
